Constant-Frequency Hysteresis Current Control of Grid-Connected VSI Without Bandwidth Control

TL;DR: In this article, a constant-frequency hysteresis current control for grid-connected voltage source inverter (VSI) is presented, which is based on predicting the current reference, system dynamic behavior, and past time to formulate the switching function for dictating the switching times of the switches in the inverter within a predefined switching period.
Proceedings ArticleDOI

Constant-frequency hysteresis current control of grid-connected VSI without bandwidth control

TL;DR: The theory, design, and implementation of a constant-frequency hysteresis current control for grid-connected voltage source inverter (VSI) is presented and experimental results show that the inverter can reach the steady-state in two switching actions after the inverters is subject to large-signal input and output disturbances.
Journal ArticleDOI

A Transformer-Less Unified Power Quality Conditioner with Fast Dynamic Control

TL;DR: In this article, a single-phase transformer-less unified power quality conditioner (TL-UPQC) is presented, which utilizes four switching devices only, forming two half-bridge voltage-source inverters connected in parallel with the load and another one connected in series with the ac mains.
Journal ArticleDOI

A Modular and Scalable Structure Using Multiparallel-Connected Series-Voltage Compensators for Supply Voltage Regulation

TL;DR: In this article, a modular and scalable voltage-regulation structure for enhancing service continuity and flexibly changing the system power rating is proposed, which is based on paralleling multiple series-voltage compensators, namely multiparallel-connected series voltage compensator (MSVC), to regulate the load voltage.
Journal ArticleDOI

Paralleling Multiple Static Synchronous Series Compensators Using Daisy-Chained Transformers

TL;DR: In this paper, a modular and scalable series compensation technique for enhancing controllability and flexibility in power transmission in distributed power systems is proposed, which is based on paralleling multiple static synchronous series compensators (SSSC) through daisy-chained transformers to perform reactive power compensation, and thus control the amount and direction of the power flow over the transmission link.
