Performance analysis of OFDM based AF cooperative systems in selection combining receiver over Nakagami‐m fading channels with nonlinear power amplifier

TL;DR: This paper derives a closed-form expression for lower bound of outage probability by using selection combining (SC) scheme at the receiver and demonstrates the impact of nonlinearity of PA parameters over outage probability for different values of threshold signal-to-noise ratio (SNR) at various mean SNR levels.
Journal ArticleDOI

Cache Enabled Cellular Network: Algorithm for Cache Placement and Guarantees

TL;DR: The optimal cache placement algorithm turns out to be NP-Hard, and hence, a novel approximate solution is presented and simulation results demonstrate that the proposed edge caching strategy performs better than the conventional greedy caching policy, least recently used, and least frequently used algorithms.
Journal ArticleDOI

Low Complexity Least Minimum Symbol Error Rate Based Post-Distortion for Vehicular VLC

TL;DR: A low-complexity least-squares based post-distortion algorithm is formulated over reproducing kernel Hilbert space (RKHS) for a multi-hop V2V-VLC link and is found to exhibit equivalent convergence characteristics and error-rate over reasonable distances, with much lower computational complexity.
Journal ArticleDOI

Outage Probability and Average Channel Capacity of Amplify-and-Forward in Conventional Cooperative Communication Networks over Rayleigh Fading Channels

TL;DR: Performance of conventional cooperative communication networks using amplify-and-forward relay over independent and identically distributed Rayleigh fading channels is investigated and an expression for probability density function by using moment generating function is obtained.
Proceedings ArticleDOI

Optical Image Encryption using Fringe Projection Profilometry, Fourier Fringe Analysis, and RSA Algorithm

TL;DR: A novel image encryption system based on virtual optical technique, Fourier transform phase retrieval algorithm and RSA public key exchange is proposed, which demonstrates the validity of the encryption method and the high robustness against potential attacks.
