Process intensification for the direct synthesis of adipic acid in a micro packed bed reactor
TL;DR: Wang et al. as discussed by the authors used a micro-packetized bed reactor to synthesize adipic acid from cyclohexene and H2O2, and found that 50% wt H 2O2 is much more productive than 30% WO2 under the same conditions.

Special Issue: Design and Engineering of Microreactor and Smart-Scaled Flow Processes
TL;DR: In this article, the focus is more on the process side, including also providing an end-to-end vision of intensified process design, which is the focus of the current special issue "Design and Engineering of Microreactor and Smart-Scaled Flow Processes".
