Journal ArticleDOI

63Ni β range and backscattering in confined geometries

TL;DR: In this article, the spatial distribution of ion pairs resulting from 63Ni β radiation in the gas phase is known for a variety of theoretical and practical reasons, in particular those concerning the electron capture detector.
Journal ArticleDOI

Chemiluminescent emission spectra of lead, chromium, ruthenium, iron, manganese, rhenium, osmium and tungsten in the reactive flow detector

TL;DR: In this paper, the luminescence spectra of lead, chromium, rhenium, iron and manganese in the reactive flow are each composed of both molecular emission bands (e.g. metal oxide systems) and atomic emission lines.
Journal ArticleDOI

Constancy of spectral response ratios in the flame photometric detector

TL;DR: The response ratio of a chromatographic peak in two optically different channels of the flame photometric detector depends little if at all on the size of the peak (analyte concentration), as long as the latter remains within the linear range of both calibration curves as discussed by the authors.
