Journal ArticleDOI

a.c. Electron-capture detection☆

TL;DR: In this paper, the authors examined the basic features of 63Ni detectors, in particular their current and response profiles, and compared the results with corresponding data from conventional, unipolar regimes.
Journal ArticleDOI

Effects of dimension and density in electron capture detectors

TL;DR: In this article, the response of different electron capture detectors with 63Ni and 3H sources has been measured in relation to interelectrode distance and cell pressure, and results for d.c. operation are in agreement with the suggested dependence of response on the difference between reversed-field and regular-field voltage profiles.
Journal ArticleDOI

Empirical correlation of layer thickness and support pore size in “chemically bonded” phases

TL;DR: In this article, the pore size of the support has been shown to increase layer thickness with the number of pore diameter, and no obvious differnces are found in this context among layers formed from mono-, di-, or trifunctional silanes.
