Journal ArticleDOI

P19.21 Modulating cortico-striatal and thalamo-cortical functional connectivity with transcranial direct current stimulation

TL;DR: The results so far do not support the hypothesis that the stimulation protocols used in the study would significantly alter maximal voluntary contraction of isometric grip strength, and suggest a TMS induced resistance to fatigue.
Journal ArticleDOI

Phenotypic Persistence in Heart Failure With Preserved Ejection Fraction

TL;DR: It is convincingly demonstrated in a prospective study with 11 years of follow-up that there was only a minimal decline in LVEF and that only 9.5 and 1.6% of HFpEF patients transitioned respectively to the HFmrEF and HFrEF phenotypes.
Journal ArticleDOI

Does dobutamine prevent the rise in left ventricular filling pressures observed during exercise after heart transplantation

TL;DR: Compensation for reduced sympathetic stimulation by administration of dobutamine improves exercise haemodynamics in cardiac transplant recipients, but cannot prevent the exercise-induced rise inleft ventricular end-diastolic pressure and correct deficient acceleration of left ventricular relaxation.
