Thermal-mechanical stability of ethylene tetrafluoroethylene alternating copolymer, and modification thereof

TL;DR: In this article, the antiaging agent N,N′-di-2-naphthyl-p-phenylenediamine (DNP) was used to prevent the degradation of the ethylene tetrafluoroethylene alternating copolymers.
Journal ArticleDOI

Enabling carbon nanofibers with significantly improved graphitization and homogeneous catalyst deposition for high performance electrocatalysts

TL;DR: In this article, a facile and effective method is developed for the fabrication of ideal support and corresponding excellent catalysts, after spontaneous deposition of MnO2 onto electrospun carbon nanofibers (CNFs) in a solution of KMnO4 and subsequent thermal annealing, MnO-CNF hybrids with significantly enhanced graphitic structure and homogeneous surfaces defects are obtained.
Journal ArticleDOI

Systematic stability investigation of perfluorosulfonic acid membranes with varying ion exchange capacities for fuel cell applications

TL;DR: In this paper, a variety of PFSA resins with IEC values ranging from 0.91 to 1.4 mmol g−1 have been synthesized, providing an opportunity for the authors to investigate the effect of factors such as the IEC value, crystallinity and ion-cluster channels, on membrane stability.
