Preparation and adsorption characteristics of an ion-imprinted polymer for fast removal of Ni(II) ions from aqueous solution

TL;DR: A novel Ni(II) ion-imprinted polymer (IIP) was synthesized by bulk polymerization for fast removal of Ni( II) ions from aqueous solution and showed high reusability and stability.
Journal ArticleDOI

Study on the effect of dispersion phase morphology on porous structure of poly (lactic acid)/poly (ethylene terephthalate glycol-modified) blending foams

TL;DR: In this paper, a methodology for blending foam of poly (lactic acid) (PLA)/poly (ethylene terephthalate glycol-modified) (PETG) was proposed.
Journal ArticleDOI

Atomically-Ordered Active Sites in NiMo Intermetallic Compound toward Low-Pressure Hydrodeoxygenation of Furfural

TL;DR: In this article, a NiMo intermetallic compound (IMC) catalyst was prepared based on layered double hydroxides (LDHs) precursors, which displayed prominent catalytic performance for furfural hydrodeoxygenation (HDO) to 2-methylfuran (2-MF) at a rather low hydrogen pressure (0.1
Journal ArticleDOI

The selective hydrogenation of furfural over intermetallic compounds with outstanding catalytic performance

TL;DR: In this article, three non-precious intermetallic compounds (Ni3Sn1, Ni3Sn2 and Ni3sn4) derived from a layered double hydroxide (LDH) precursor are characterized by a highly uniform dispersion of IMC nanoparticles and display surprisingly improved catalytic performance toward the selective hydrogenation of furfural (CO) to furfuryl alcohol.
Journal ArticleDOI

A Frequency-Based Synchronization Approach for the VSC-HVDC Station Connected to a Weak AC Grid

TL;DR: In this paper, a frequency-based synchronization control (FSC) approach was proposed for the voltage-sourced converter in rectification and inversion modes of an HVDC station that is connected to a weak ac grid.
