Predicting Splicing from Primary Sequence with Deep Learning.
Kishore Jaganathan,Sofia Kyriazopoulou Panagiotopoulou,Jeremy F. McRae,Siavash Fazel Darbandi,David A. Knowles,Yang I. Li,Jack A. Kosmicki,Jack A. Kosmicki,Juan Arbelaez,Wenwu Cui,Grace Schwartz,Eric D. Chow,Efstathios Kanterakis,Hong Gao,Amirali Kia,Serafim Batzoglou,Stephen Sanders,Kyle Kai-How Farh +17 more
TL;DR: A deep neural network is described that accurately predicts splice junctions from an arbitrary pre-mRNA transcript sequence, enabling precise prediction of noncoding genetic variants that cause cryptic splicing.
Journal ArticleDOI
Abstract P2-01-15: Developing highly sensitive high NGS data efficient ctDNA detection assays for breast cancer surveillance
Aihua Fu,Wenwu Cui,Minh Ton,Kevan Wang,Weiwei Gu,Tian-ren Li,Heather A. Parsons,Minetta C. Liu,George W. Sledge +8 more
TL;DR: The NVIGEN X - Precision Cancer Profiling assay provided high NGS assay performance with high sensitivity, specificity, and consistency, and significantly improved NGS data efficiency, which allows for dramatically reduced assay cost and will help support routine applications of ctDNA NGS tests to improve cancer patient treatment.
