Journal ArticleDOI
Attosecond imaging of molecular electronic wavepackets
Stefan Haessler,J. Caillat,Willem Boutu,C Giovanetti-Teixeira,Thierry Ruchon,Thierry Auguste,Z. Diveki,Pierre Breger,Alfred Maquet,Bertrand Carré,Richard Taïeb,Pascal Salières +11 more
TL;DR: In this paper, the attosecond contributions of the two highest occupied molecular orbitals are analyzed and the conditions where they are disentangled in real and imaginary parts of the emission dipole moment are determined.
Journal ArticleDOI
Coherent control of attosecond emission from aligned molecules
Willem Boutu,Stefan Haessler,Hamed Merdji,Pierre Breger,G Waters,M Stankiewicz,Leszek J. Frasinski,Richard Taïeb,J. Caillat,Alfred Maquet,P. Monchicourt,Bertrand Carré,Pascal Salières +12 more
TL;DR: In this article, a coherent control in linear molecules, where the interaction of the laser-driven electron wavepackets is considered, is presented. But it is not shown that the coherent control can steer the attosecond emission.
Journal ArticleDOI
Laser-induced ultrafast demagnetization in the presence of a nanoscale magnetic domain network
Boris Vodungbo,Julien Gautier,Guillaume Lambert,Anna Barszczak Sardinha,Anna Barszczak Sardinha,M. Lozano,Stéphane Sebban,M. Ducousso,Willem Boutu,Kaigong Li,Bharati Tudu,Marina Tortarolo,Ranjit R. Hawaldar,Renaud Delaunay,Victor Lopez-Flores,Jacek Arabski,Christine Boeglin,Hamed Merdji,Philippe Zeitoun,Jan Lüning +19 more
TL;DR: Laser-induced ultrafast demagnetization in [Co/Pd](30) multilayer films is studied, which, for the first time, achieves a spatial resolution better than 100 nm by using femtosecond soft X-ray pulses.
Journal ArticleDOI
Isolated attosecond pulses from ionization gating of high-harmonic emission
Mark J. Abel,Mark J. Abel,Thomas Pfeifer,Thomas Pfeifer,Phillip M. Nagel,Phillip M. Nagel,Willem Boutu,Willem Boutu,M. Justine Bell,M. Justine Bell,Colby P. Steiner,Colby P. Steiner,Daniel M. Neumark,Daniel M. Neumark,Stephen R. Leone,Stephen R. Leone +15 more
TL;DR: In this paper, it was shown that the ionization gating of high-harmonic emission on the leading edge of the driving pulse produces isolated attosecond pulses with a contrast ratio (the energy in the main pulse normalized to the energy in adjacent satellite pulses) c ¼ 3:3 0:2.
Journal ArticleDOI
Single-shot femtosecond x-ray holography using extended references.
David Gauthier,Manuel Guizar-Sicairos,X. Ge,Willem Boutu,Bertrand Carré,James R. Fienup,Hamed Merdji +6 more
TL;DR: Here it is shown that single-shot imaging with a table-top, laser-based coherent soft x-ray source with spatial resolution of 110 nm was obtained with an integration time of 20 fs.
