Journal ArticleDOI
Continuous-wave broadly tunable Cr2+:ZnSe laser.
Gregory J. Wagner,Timothy J. Carrig,Ralph H. Page,Kathleen I. Schaffers,Jean-Oliver Ndap,X. Ma,Arnold Burger +6 more
TL;DR: Room-temperature operation of an all-solid-state broadly tunable continuous-wave Cr(2+):ZnSe laser is reported, and continuous tunability from 2138 to 2760 nm is demonstrated.
Journal ArticleDOI
Crystal growth, fabrication and evaluation of cadmium manganese telluride gamma ray detectors
Arnold Burger,K. Chattopadhyay,Henry Chen,Jean Olivier Ndap,X. Ma,Sudhir Trivedi,Susan Kutcher,Rujin Chen,Robert D Rosemeier +8 more
TL;DR: In this paper, the crystal growth of intentionally vanadium doped crystals, the surface preparation and contacting procedure, as well as the best detector performance obtained so far are presented and discussed.
Journal ArticleDOI
Preparation conditions of chromium doped ZnSe and their infrared luminescence properties
Arnold Burger,K. Chattopadhyay,J.-O. Ndap,X. Ma,Steven H. Morgan,Corneliu Rablau,Ching-Hua Su,S. Feth,Ralph H. Page,Kathleen I. Schaffers,Stephen A. Payne +10 more
TL;DR: In this article, a photoluminescence lifetime measurement of the near-IR emissions from a series of chromium-doped ZnSe samples, correlated to their preparation conditions, is reported.
Journal ArticleDOI
Lead iodide film deposition and characterization
TL;DR: In this paper, Palladium contacts were attached to Teflon substrates with areas of 2 cm2 and lead iodide films 50 to 500 μm in thickness were deposited onto it by sublimation of the purified material at near 390 °C.
Journal ArticleDOI
Absorption and photoluminescence spectroscopy of diffusion-doped ZnSe:Cr 2p
TL;DR: In this paper, a series of diffusion-doped ZnSe:Cr single-crystal samples with Cr2+ concentrations in the range from 2×1017 cm −3 to 9×1019 cm−3 were obtained using CrSe powder as the dopant source.
