TL;DR: An organic scheme of the whole process of design, fabrication, experiments, models, models and image analyses of pantographic metamaterials is presented.
Journal ArticleDOI
Out-of-plane deformation reduction via inelastic hinges in fibrous metamaterials and simplified damage approach

Journal ArticleDOI
On the effect of sintering temperature on the fracture energy of an Alumina-Mullite-Zirconia castable at 600 °C
TL;DR: In this paper, the fracture energy of a high-alumina refractory with mullite-zirconia aggregates at 600 ˚ C was measured using the Notch Opening Displacements.
Journal ArticleDOI
I-DIC-based identification strategy of failure criteria: application to titanium and nickel-based alloys
TL;DR: In this article, the authors used integrated digital image correlation (I-DIC) to probe three failure criteria on two high performance alloys and found that a maximum eigen stress criterion is well adapted to the studied materials.
