Journal ArticleDOI
Strong Rashba-Edelstein Effect-Induced Spin-Orbit Torques in Monolayer Transition Metal Dichalcogenide/Ferromagnet Bilayers.
Qiming Shao,Guoqiang Yu,Yann Wen Lan,Yumeng Shi,Yumeng Shi,Ming-Yang Li,Ming-Yang Li,Cheng Zheng,Xiaodan Zhu,Lain-Jong Li,Pedram Khalili Amiri,Kang L. Wang +11 more
TL;DR: The results suggest that the charge-spin conversion in the chemical vapor deposition-grown large-scale monolayer TMDs could potentially lead to high energy efficiency for magnetization reversal and convenient device integration for future spintronics based on two-dimensional materials.
Journal ArticleDOI
Tailoring exchange couplings in magnetic topological-insulator/antiferromagnet heterostructures
Qing Lin He,Xufeng Kou,Alexander J. Grutter,Gen Yin,Lei Pan,Xiaoyu Che,Yuxiang Liu,Tianxiao Nie,Bin Zhang,Steven Disseler,Brian J. Kirby,William Ratcliff,Qiming Shao,Koichi Murata,Xiaodan Zhu,Guoqiang Yu,Yabin Fan,Mohammad Montazeri,Xiaodong Han,Julie A. Borchers,Kang L. Wang +20 more
TL;DR: Proximity effects are shown to induce an interfacial spin texture modulation and establish an effective long-range exchange coupling mediated by antiferromagnetism, which significantly enhances the magnetic ordering temperature in the superlattice.
Journal ArticleDOI
A Solution Processed Flexible Nanocomposite Electrode with Efficient Light Extraction for Organic Light Emitting Diodes
TL;DR: A flexible nanocomposite electrode comprising single-walled carbon nanotubes and silver nanowires stacked and embedded in the surface of a polymer substrate could pave the way to high-efficiency flexible OLEDs with simplified device structure and low fabrication cost.
Journal ArticleDOI
Wafer-Scale Growth of WSe2 Monolayers Toward Phase-Engineered Hybrid WOx/WSe2 Films with Sub-ppb NOx Gas Sensing by a Low-Temperature Plasma-Assisted Selenization Process
Henry Medina,Jian Guang Li,Teng Yu Su,Yann Wen Lan,Shao Hsin Lee,Chia Wei Chen,Yu Ze Chen,Arumugam Manikandan,Shin Hung Tsai,Aryan Navabi,Xiaodan Zhu,Yu Chuan Shih,Wei Sheng Lin,Jian Hua Yang,Stuart R. Thomas,Bo Wei Wu,Chang Hong Shen,Jia-Min Shieh,Heh-Nan Lin,Ali Javey,Kang L. Wang,Yu-Lun Chueh,Yu-Lun Chueh +22 more
TL;DR: An inductively coupled plasma (ICP) process was used to synthesize transition metal dichalcogenides (TMDs) through a plasma-assisted selenization process of metal oxide (MOx) at a temperature as low as 250 °C.
Journal ArticleDOI
Metallic nanomesh electrodes with controllable optical properties for organic solar cells
TL;DR: In this article, a metallic nanomesh has been fabricated using nanosphere lithography and metal evaporation, which has a precisely controlled nanostructure showing excellent uniformity with hexagonally arrayed periodic circular holes.
