Journal ArticleDOI
Activating low-temperature diesel oxidation by single-atom Pt on TiO 2 nanowire array.
Son Hoang,Yanbing Guo,Yanbing Guo,Andrew J. Binder,Wenxiang Tang,Sibo Wang,Jingyue Jimmy Liu,Huan Tran,Xingxu Lu,Yu Wang,Yong Ding,Eleni A. Kyriakidou,Ji Yang,Todd J. Toops,Thomas R. Pauly,Rampi Ramprasad,Pu-Xian Gao +16 more
TL;DR: It is demonstrated that a sustained 90% diesel oxidation conversion at ~160 oC is achieved by single-atom Pt on TiO2 nanowire-array integrated catalytic converter.
Journal ArticleDOI
Reactive sites rich porous tubular yolk-shell g-C3N4 via precursor recrystallization mediated microstructure engineering for photoreduction
TL;DR: In this paper, the template-free preparation of three novel structured g-C3N4 structures, namely, porous tubular (PT), porous split yolk-shell (PSYS), and porous split Yolkshell (PTYS), was reported, by an unprecedented precursor microstructure regulation of melamine crystals in a gas pressure mediated re-crystallization process.
Journal ArticleDOI
Alkali-metal poisoning effect of total CO and propane oxidation over Co3O4 nanocatalysts
Wenxiang Tang,Junfei Weng,Xingxu Lu,Liaoyong Wen,Ashwanth Suburamanian,Chang-Yong Nam,Chang-Yong Nam,Pu-Xian Gao +7 more
TL;DR: In this paper, the poisoning effect of alkali metals on Co3O4 nanocatalysts for catalytic total oxidation of CO and propane was investigated, and it was found that 1% doping on the catalysts increased the light-off temperature by 50°C in CO oxidation and over 160°C for propane oxidation.
Journal ArticleDOI
Multiple strategies to decrease ignition temperature for soot combustion on ultrathin MnO2-x nanosheet array
Qiaolan Shi,Taizheng Liu,Qian Li,Ying Xin,Xingxu Lu,Wenxiang Tang,Zhaoliang Zhang,Pu-Xian Gao,James A. Anderson +8 more
TL;DR: In this paper, the authors used a noble metal-free ultrathin MnO2-x nanosheet array fabricated by in situ etching of a La layer from LaMnO3 under loose contact conditions in a NO-containing atmosphere.
Journal ArticleDOI
Atomistic structure of Cu-containing β″ precipitates in an Al–Mg–Si–Cu alloy
Kai Li,Kai Li,Armand Béché,Min Song,Gang Sha,Xingxu Lu,Kai Zhang,Yong Du,Simon P. Ringer,Dominique Schryvers +9 more
TL;DR: The β″ precipitates in a peak-aged Al−Mg−Si−Cu alloy were measured with an average composition of 28.6Al−38.7Mg+26.5Si−5.17Cu using atom probe tomography as mentioned in this paper.
