Journal ArticleDOI

A model of evolving damage bands in materials

TL;DR: In this article, the authors developed a model that incorporates damage band evolution at three levels: (i) at the mechanism level, the damage mechanisms such as diffusive void growth and fatigue cracks, determine the damage growth rate; (ii) at an intermediate level, damage band is modeled as springs connecting undamaged materials, and the spring constants change as damage develops; and (iii) the damage band was modeled as an array of dislocations to satisfy equilibrium.
Journal ArticleDOI

Formulating Zwitterionic, Responsive Polymers for Designing Smart Soils.

TL;DR: In this article , the authors proposed a new smart soil, consisting of the upper signal soil and the bottom hygroscopic bed and chemically including zwitterionic, thermo-responsive poly(NIPAM-co-VPES) and poly(nipam co-SBAA) aerogels in each soil layer.
Journal ArticleDOI

Solid-State Double-Network Hydrogel Redox Electrolytes for High-Performance Flexible Supercapacitors.

TL;DR: In this paper, the authors reported the solid-state double-network (DN) hydrogel electrolytes (HEs) incorporated with Na2MoO4 redox additives.
Journal ArticleDOI

Two-Dimensional Conjugated Polymeric Nanocrystals for Organic Electronics

TL;DR: In this article, the authors reported 2D conjugated polymeric nanocrystals, polyhedral oligomeric silsesquioxanes (POSS) covalent structures.
