Performance assessment of CO2 capture with calcination carbonation reaction process driven by coal and concentrated solar power
Xuelei Zhang,Yingguang Liu +1 more
TL;DR: In this paper, a CCR process driven by coal and concentrated solar power (CSP) is examined from the perspective of energy efficiency, focusing on the parameters of heat recovery efficiency, CSP capacity, compression energy, air separation energy and recycled energy.
Journal ArticleDOI
Effects of windbreak mesh on thermo-flow characteristics of air-cooled steam condenser under windy conditions
Xuelei Zhang,Haiping Chen +1 more
TL;DR: In this article, a windbreak mesh is arranged below the steam condenser platform and outside the ACSC steel supporting structure to improve ACSC performance, and its effects are numerically investigated.
Journal ArticleDOI
Effects of diffuser orifice plate on the performance of air-cooled steam condenser
Xuelei Zhang,Tingting Wu +1 more
TL;DR: In this paper, a new measure to improve ACSC performance is proposed by installing diffuser orifice plate under the ACSC platform, where the velocity head converts to the pressure head, and the diffuser hole in the plate contributes to shrink the negative pressure region under ACSC.
Journal ArticleDOI
Impacts of High-Density Suspended Aquaculture on Water Currents: Observation and Modeling
Xuehai Liu,Xuelei Zhang +1 more
TL;DR: This study conducted a field observation in Sungo Bay in China, and developed a three-dimensional numerical model by arranging so-called porous structures, representing the aquaculture facilities, on grids of the culture layers to determine the momentum loss by the friction of the structures.
Journal ArticleDOI
Thermodynamic and economic investigation of a novel combined cycle in coal-fired power plant with CO2 capture via Ca-looping
TL;DR: In this article , the authors proposed a combined cycle of supercritical CO2 Brayton cycle (SCBC) and organic Rankine cycle (ORC) in coal-fired power plants (CFPP) with CO2 capture.
