Journal ArticleDOI

Zinc-Mediated Decarboxylative Alkylation of Gem-difluoroalkenes

TL;DR: An efficient and mild zinc-mediated decarboxylative alkylation of gem-difluoroalkenes with N-hydroxyphthalimide (NHP) esters, to give monofluoroalksenes in moderate to excellent yields with high Z-selectivity is reported.
Journal ArticleDOI

Design, synthesis, and biological evaluation of deuterated C-aryl glycoside as a potent and long-acting renal sodium-dependent glucose cotransporter 2 inhibitor for the treatment of type 2 diabetes.

TL;DR: S GLT2 inhibitors deuterated at sites susceptible to oxidative metabolism were found to have a slightly longer tmax and half-life, dose-dependent increase in urinary glucose excretion in rats, and slightly superior effects on UGE in dogs while retaining similar in vitro inhibitory activities against hSGLT2.
Journal ArticleDOI

Divergent copper-mediated dimerization and hydroxylation of benzamides involving C-H bond functionalization.

TL;DR: Convenient methods were developed for copper-mediated oxidative C-H activation of aminoquinoline benzamides to give either hydroxylation or dimerization compounds as the major products efficiently.
Journal ArticleDOI

Fluorination of 2-substituted benzo[b]furans with Selectfluor™

TL;DR: An efficient protocol was developed to access 3-fluoro- 2-hydroxy-2-substituted benzo[b]furans with Selectfluor™ as the fluorinating reagent in MeCN and water by utilizing SOCl2/Py as the dehydrating agent.
Journal ArticleDOI

A practical approach to asymmetric synthesis of dolastatin 10.

TL;DR: A practical method to the key subunit Val-Dil has been established as an alternative synthetic route for the synthesis of this challenging chemical structure.
