Reduction of hemoglobin, not iron, inhibited maturation of red blood cells in male rats exposed to high intensity endurance exercises.
TL;DR: It is drawn that transient changes of iron metabolism, which may be induced by stress hormone changes, was not the reason for RBCs decrease in endurance exercises but hemoglobin reduction, induced by defects in protein supplement, impeded development of R BCs.
Journal ArticleDOI
Rapid responses of adipocytes to iron overload increase serum TG level by decreasing adiponectin.
Yuxiao Tang,Dongyao Wang,Dongyao Wang,Hongwei Zhang,Yinyin Zhang,Jie Wang,Ruirui Qi,Jianxin Yang,Hui Shen,Yan Xu,Min Li,Min Li +11 more
TL;DR: In this article, an intraperitoneal injection of 100 mg/kg/day dextran-iron for 5 days, the epididymis adipose showed a remarkable increase in iron.
Journal ArticleDOI
A novel bifunctional zinc gluconate electrolyte for a stable Zn anode
TL;DR: In this paper , a bifunctional electrolyte of zinc gluconate for Zn-ion batteries (ZIBs) is proposed, which provides a simple yet practical solution to stable and dendrite-free Zn anode.
