Biochar-based nano-composites for the decontamination of wastewater: A review.
Xiaofei Tan,Yunguo Liu,Yanling Gu,Yan Xu,Guangming Zeng,Xinjiang Hu,Shaobo Liu,Xin Wang,Si-mian Liu,Jiang Li +9 more
TL;DR: The various synthesis techniques for biochar-based nano-composites and their effects on the decontamination of wastewater are reviewed and the characteristic and advantages of existing synthesis methods are summarized and discussed.
Journal ArticleDOI
Enhanced adsorption of methylene blue by citric acid modification of biochar derived from water hyacinth ( Eichornia crassipes )
Yan Xu,Yunguo Liu,Shaobo Liu,Xiaofei Tan,Guangming Zeng,Wei Zeng,Yang Ding,Weicheng Cao,Bohong Zheng +8 more
TL;DR: The adsorption experiments of actual dye wastewater by CAWB suggested that it had a great potential in environmental application, and the regeneration study revealed that CAWB still exhibited an excellent regeneration and adsorbent performance after multiple cycle adsorptions.
Journal ArticleDOI
Decontamination of methylene blue from aqueous solution by magnetic chitosan lignosulfonate grafted with graphene oxide: effects of environmental conditions and surfactant
Wei Zeng,Yunguo Liu,Xinjiang Hu,Shaobo Liu,Guangming Zeng,Bohong Zheng,Luhua Jiang,Guo Fangying,Yang Ding,Yan Xu +9 more
TL;DR: In this paper, magnetic chitosan lignosulfonate grafted with graphene oxide (MCLS/GO) was prepared successfully through a hydrothermal reaction.
Journal ArticleDOI
Removal of metformin hydrochloride by Alternanthera philoxeroides biomass derived porous carbon materials treated with hydrogen peroxide
Xixian Huang,Yunguo Liu,Shaobo Liu,Zhongwu Li,Xiaofei Tan,Yang Ding,Guangming Zeng,Yan Xu,Wei Zeng,Bohong Zheng +9 more
TL;DR: In this paper, the effects of pH and Cu(II) on metformin hydrochloride (MF) adsorption were evaluated, and it was found that the presence of Cu (II) facilitated MF adsorbing in the range of pH 3.0-7.0.
