Multioctave supercontinuum generation and frequency conversion based on rotational nonlinearity.
John E. Beetar,M. Nrisimhamurty,Tran-Chau Truong,Garima C. Nagar,Yangyang Liu,Jonathan Nesper,Omar Suarez,Federico Rivas,Yi Wu,Bonggu Shim,Michael Chini +10 more
TL;DR: This work uses 80-cycle pulses from an industrial-grade laser amplifier to simultaneously drive molecular alignment and supercontinuum generation in a gas-filled capillary, producing more than two octaves of coherent bandwidth and achieving >45-fold compression to a duration of 1.6 cycles.
Journal ArticleDOI
Temperature-dependent electronic structure in a higher-order topological insulator candidate Eu In 2 As 2
Sabin Regmi,M. Mofazzel Hosen,Barun Ghosh,Bahadur Singh,Bahadur Singh,Gyanendra Dhakal,Christopher Sims,Baokai Wang,Firoza Kabir,Klauss Dimitri,Yangyang Liu,Amit Agarwal,Hsin Lin,Dariusz Kaczorowski,Arun Bansil,Madhab Neupane +15 more
TL;DR: In this article, high-resolution angle-resolved photoemission spectroscopy combined with first-principles calculations is used to study the electronic structure and its evolution across the magnetic phase transition in a high-order topological insulator.
Journal ArticleDOI
Hollow-core fiber compression of a commercial Yb:KGW laser amplifier
TL;DR: In this paper, the authors demonstrate compression of 280fs, 400μJ pulses from a moderately high power (20 W) Yb:KGW laser amplifier to 15fs with an energy of up to 200μJ.

Single-shot measurement of few-cycle optical waveforms on a chip
TL;DR: In this article, strong-field nonlinear excitation of photocurrents in a silicon-based image sensor chip can provide the sub-cycle optical gate necessary to characterize carrier-envelope phase-stable optical waveforms in the mid-infrared.
Journal ArticleDOI
Extreme Ultraviolet Time- and Angle-Resolved Photoemission Spectroscopy with 21.5 meV Resolution using High-Order Harmonic Generation from a Turn-Key Yb:KGW Amplifier
Yangyang Liu,John E. Beetar,M. Mofazzel Hosen,Gyanendra Dhakal,Christopher Sims,Firoza Kabir,Marc B. Etienne,Klauss Dimitri,Sabin Regmi,Yong Liu,Arjun K. Pathak,Dariusz Kaczorowski,Madhab Neupane,Michael Chini +13 more
TL;DR: In this article, the authors demonstrate an experimental apparatus for time and angle-resolved photoemission spectroscopy using high-order harmonic probe pulses generated by a robust, moderately high power (20 W) Yb:KGW amplifier with tunable repetition rate between 50 and 150 kHz.
