Journal ArticleDOI

Naringenin exerts anti-angiogenic effects in human endothelial cells: Involvement of ERRα/VEGF/KDR signaling pathway.

TL;DR: The data suggest that Nar should be a direct ERRα inhibitor capable of inhibiting angiogenesis in vitro and in vivo, including endothelial cell proliferation, survival, migration and capillary-like structures formation of HUVECs, as well as reduced neovascularization of the CAM.
Journal ArticleDOI

Inhibition of PDGF-BB-induced proliferation and migration in VSMCs by proanthocyanidin A2: Involvement of KDR and Jak-2/STAT-3/cPLA2 signaling pathways.

TL;DR: The data clearly show that PA2 markedly inhibited proliferation, migration and inflammatory responses at 0-30??g/ml concentration in VSMCs in vitro, and highlight the possible therapeutic use of PA2 in vascular proliferative diseases, where abnormal proliferation and migration play important pathological roles.
Journal ArticleDOI

A potential therapeutic target in traditional Chinese medicine for ulcerative colitis: Macrophage polarization

TL;DR: Evidence has shown that traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) has positive therapeutic effects on UC by restoring the balance of M1/M2 macrophage polarization, and the potential mechanism of TCM regulating macrophages polarization in the treatment of UC is summarized.
Journal ArticleDOI

Gut microbiota: A new target of traditional Chinese medicine for insomnia.

TL;DR: Wang et al. as mentioned in this paper reviewed the relationship between the gut microbiota and traditional Chinese medicine, and provided new ideas for the prevention and treatment of insomnia through TCM, the mechanism by which gut microbiota regulate sleep, and the mechanisms by which TCM regulates gut microbiota for insomnia prevention.
Journal ArticleDOI

Chinese patent medicines for coronary microvascular disease: clinical evidence and potential mechanisms

TL;DR: In this article , the authors proposed a method to solve the problem of self-diagnosis in cancer patients, which they termed "selfdiagnosis" and "self-treatment".
