Journal ArticleDOI
Tunneling-induced negative permittivity in Ni/MnO nanocomposites by a bio-gel derived strategy
Peitao Xie,Yifan Li,Qing Hou,Kunyan Sui,Chunzhao Liu,Xueyan Fu,Jiaoxia Zhang,Vignesh Murugadoss,Vignesh Murugadoss,Jincheng Fan,Yanpeng Wang,Runhua Fan,Zhanhu Guo +12 more
TL;DR: In this article, zero-dimensional nanoparticles connected by tunneling networks were used to construct metamaterials, thus providing a more flexible alternative for designing the geometrical configuration of metammaterials, particularly in nanodevices.
Journal ArticleDOI
Atomistic Origin of the Complex Morphological Evolution of Aluminum Nanoparticles during Oxidation: A Chain-like Oxide Nucleation and Growth Mechanism.
TL;DR: This work found and investigated the chain-like nucleation and growth of oxides on the aluminum nanoparticle (ANP) surface, using molecular dynamics simulations with the reactive force-field (ReaxFF) to provide insights into the atomic-scale oxidation mechanism of metal nanoparticles.
Journal ArticleDOI
Interfacial structure and wetting properties of water droplets on graphene under a static electric field.
TL;DR: The findings provide the possibility to control the structure and wetting properties of water on graphene by tuning the direction and intensity of external E-field which is of importance for relevant industrial processes on the solid surface.
Journal ArticleDOI
COVID-19 and Tuberculosis Coinfection: An Overview of Case Reports/Case Series and Meta-Analysis.
Wan-mei Song,Jing-Yu Zhao,Qian-yun Zhang,Si-qi Liu,Xue-han Zhu,Qi-qi An,Ting-ting Xu,Shi-jin Li,Jin-yue Liu,Ning-ning Tao,Yao Liu,Yifan Li,Huai-chen Li,Huai-chen Li +13 more
TL;DR: Wang et al. as mentioned in this paper investigated the clinical features and prognosis of COVID-TB cases and found that non-survivors were more likely to have hypertension (47.06 vs. 17.95%) or symptoms of dyspnea (72.68 vs. 30%) or bilateral lesions (73.53% vs. 8.5-16.73%) than survivors.
Journal ArticleDOI
Association between ambient PM2.5 and children’s hospital admissions for respiratory diseases in Jinan, China
Jinyue Liu,Jinyue Liu,Yifan Li,Jun Li,Yao Liu,Ning-ning Tao,Wan-mei Song,Liangliang Cui,Huai-chen Li,Huai-chen Li +9 more
TL;DR: PM2.5 had significant positive impacts on the number of children’s hospital admissions for respiratory disease and upper infection admission was identified as the sensitive disease for children.
