TL;DR: Li et al. as discussed by the authors examined the equity in the distribution of high-technology medical equipment, such as CT and MRI, in China and found that the number of CTs and MRIs increased considerably in China from 2006 to 2009, while the equity status of MRI distribution improved from high inequality in 2006 to moderate inequality in 2009.
