Tailored Plasmons in Pentacene/Graphene Heterostructures with Interlayer Electron Transfer.
Fengrui Hu,Minsung Kim,Yongheng Zhang,Yilong Luan,Kai-Ming Ho,Yi Shi,Cai-Zhuang Wang,Xin Wang,Zhe Fei +8 more
TL;DR: A nano-plasmonic study of vdW heterostructures that were produced by depositing ordered molecular layers of pentacene on top of graphene finds that surface plasmons formed due to the collective oscillations of Dirac fermions in graphene are highly sensitive to the adjacentpentacene layers.
Journal ArticleDOI
Direct Observation of Global Elastic Intervalley Scattering Induced by Impurities on Graphene.
Can Wang,Huaiqiang Wang,Wang Chen,Xuedong Xie,Junyu Zong,Lulu Liu,Shaoen Jin,Yongheng Zhang,Fan Yu,Qinghao Meng,Qichao Tian,Li Wang,Wei Ren,Fangsen Li,Haijun Zhang,Yi Zhang +15 more
TL;DR: Using angle-resolved photoemission spectroscopy (ARPES), this paper showed that the epitaxial monolayer and bilayer graphene with various impurities display global elastic intervalley scattering and quantum interference below the critical temperature (34 K).
Posted ContentDOI
Observation of Multiple Charge Density Wave Phases in Epitaxial Monolayer 1T-VSe2 Film
Junyu Zong,Yang Xie,Qinghao Meng,Qichao Tian,Wang Chen,Xuedong Xie,Shaoen Jin,Yongheng Zhang,Li Wang,Wei Ren,Jian Chen,Aixi Chen,Fangsen Li,Zhaoyang Dong,Can Wang,Jian-Xin Li,Yi Zhang +16 more
TL;DR: In this article, an anisotropic charge density wave (CDW) gap and a two-step transition associated with the different CDW phases were observed below 135 K for the (√7×√3) CDW phase and between 135 K to 330 K for (2×1) CDw phase respectively.
Journal ArticleDOI
Charge transfer between the epitaxial monolayer WSe2 films and graphene substrates
Yongheng Zhang,Xuedong Xie,Junyu Zong,Wang Chen,Fan Yu,Qichao Tian,Qinghao Meng,Can Wang,Yi Zhang +8 more
TL;DR: Using angle-resolved photoemission spectroscopy, the authors investigated the interfacial charge transfer between the grown WSe2 films and the graphene with different numbers of layers.
