Soft Mode Spectroscopic Study Of Ferroelectric Phase Transition In Li2Ge7015

TL;DR: In this article, the soft mode which concerns the ferroelectricity should be infrared active both in the paraelectric and ferro-electric phases, and the authors used far-infrared and sub-millimeter wave measurements are very important in the study of phase transitions.
Journal ArticleDOI

DC Field Dependence of the Dielectric Dispersion in the 2/7 Phase of Betaine Calcium Chloride Dihydrate

TL;DR: In this paper, the authors measured the dielectric dispersion in the 2/7 phase of betaine calcium chloride dihydrate in the frequency region between 100 Hz and 10 MHz and found that both the relaxation frequency and the reciprocal strength are proportional to the DC field strength.
Journal ArticleDOI

Polarization reversal and domain wall mobility in polar commensurate phases

TL;DR: Polarization reversal and domain wall mobility in rippled commensurate phases is investigated in the framework of one dimensional discrete lattice model in this paper, where results of computer simulations in the modulated phase with seven site period are compared with analytical estimates derived from the related continuum model.
