Joint mass-and-energy test of the equivalence principle at the 10 − 10 level using atoms with specified mass and internal energy
Lin Zhou,Chuan He,S. Yan,Xi Chen,Dongfeng Gao,Wei-Tao Duan,Yu-Hang Ji,Xu Rundong,Biao Tang,Chao Zhou,Sachin Barthwal,Sachin Barthwal,Qi Wang,Hou Zhuo,Xiong Zongyuan,Y. H. Zhang,Min Liu,Wei-Tou Ni,Jin Wang,Mingsheng Zhan +19 more
TL;DR: In this article, the authors used rubidium atoms with specified mass and internal energy to carry out a joint mass-energy test of the equivalence principle (EP), and they used the extended 4WDR to select atoms with a certain mass and angular momentum state, and form a dual-species atom interferometer.
Journal ArticleDOI
Laser frequency shift up to 5 GHz with a high-efficiency 12-pass 350-MHz acousto-optic modulator
TL;DR: Combining the ±1st order diffraction, laser signals with up to 10 GHz frequency difference can be obtained, which fulfill most frequency shift requirements of laser cooling and coherent manipulation experiments with alkali metal atoms.
Journal ArticleDOI
Suppression of Coriolis error in weak equivalence principle test using ^[85]Rb-^[87]Rb dual-species atom interferometer
TL;DR: In this paper, the problem of Coriolis error in weak equivalence principle (WEP) test using atom interferometer has been studied theoretically and experimentally, and the measurement errors of Eotvos coefficient (eta) in WEP test related to experimental parameters, such as horizontal-velocity difference and horizontal position difference of atomic clouds, horizontal-position difference of detectors and rotation compensation of Raman laser's mirror are calculated.

Suppression of Coriolis error in weak equivalence principle test using 85 Rb- 87 Rb dual-species atom interferometer
TL;DR: In this article, the problem of Coriolis error in weak equivalence principle (WEP) test using atom interferometer has been studied theoretically and experimentally, and the measurement errors of Eötvõs coefficient (η) in WEP test related to experimental parameters, such as horizontal-velocity difference and horizontal-position difference of atomic clouds, horizontal position difference of detectors and rotation compensation of Raman laser's mirror are calculated.
Journal ArticleDOI
All acousto-optic modulator laser system for a 12 m fountain-type dual-species atom interferometer.
Chuan He,S. Yan,Lin Zhou,Sachin Barthwal,Xu Rundong,Chao Zhou,Yu-Hang Ji,Qi Wang,Hou Zhuo,Jin Wang,Mingsheng Zhan +10 more
TL;DR: In this article, a laser system for 85Rb and 87Rb dual-species atom interferometers based on acousto-optic frequency shift and tapered amplifier laser technologies was proposed.
