Posted ContentDOI
Genome editing in mammals and plants using CRISPR type I-D nuclease
TL;DR: TiD is found that Cas10d—a nuclease in TiD—is multi-functional in PAM recognition, stabilization and target DNA degradation, suggesting TiD as a unique effector pathway in CRISPR that can be repurposed for genome engineering in eukaryotic cells.
Posted ContentDOI
Efficient generation of null-segregant parthenocarpic tomato by CRISPR/Cas9 editing
TL;DR: The method used in this study is effective in achieving rapid isolation of null-segregant (transgene free) lines with high efficiency, while adding important traits to various cultivars at the same time.
Book ChapterDOI
Genome Editing in Apple
TL;DR: This chapter will provide an overview of current studies of genome editing in apple and will discern and explore how this strategy will provide insights into molecular breeding technologies for genetic improvement of the apple.
