Journal ArticleDOI

Lignocellulose molecular assembly and deconstruction properties of lignin-altered rice mutants.

TL;DR: Solid-state NMR and X-ray diffraction analyses of rice cell walls revealed that both OsCAldOMT1- and OsCAD2-deficiencies contributed to the disruptions of the cellulose crystalline network, resulting in apparently more loosened lignocellulose molecular assembly.
Journal ArticleDOI

Release of chimeras and efficient selection of editing mutants by CRISPR/Cas9-mediated gene editing in apple

TL;DR: In this article , the visual marker gene PDS encoding phytoene desaturase in Malus × domestica cultivar "Greensleeves" was targeted for gene editing using the CRISPR/Cas9 system delivered via Agrobacterium tumefaciens.
