Journal ArticleDOI
Lignocellulose molecular assembly and deconstruction properties of lignin-altered rice mutants.
Andri Fadillah Martin,Yuki Tobimatsu,Pui Ying Lam,Naoyuki Matsumoto,Takuto Tanaka,Shiro Suzuki,Ryosuke Kusumi,Takuji Miyamoto,Yuri Takeda-Kimura,Masaomi Yamamura,Taichi Koshiba,Keishi Osakabe,Yuriko Osakabe,Masahiro Sakamoto,Toshiaki Umezawa +14 more
TL;DR: Solid-state NMR and X-ray diffraction analyses of rice cell walls revealed that both OsCAldOMT1- and OsCAD2-deficiencies contributed to the disruptions of the cellulose crystalline network, resulting in apparently more loosened lignocellulose molecular assembly.
Journal ArticleDOI
Release of chimeras and efficient selection of editing mutants by CRISPR/Cas9-mediated gene editing in apple
Furong Li,Haruka Sato,Yasuyuki Kawaharada,Chikako Nishitani,Yuriko Osakabe,Keishi Osakabe,Masato Wada,Norimitsu Tanaka,Manabu Watanabe,Chunfen Zhang,Shu Deng,Sadao Komori +11 more
TL;DR: In this article , the visual marker gene PDS encoding phytoene desaturase in Malus × domestica cultivar "Greensleeves" was targeted for gene editing using the CRISPR/Cas9 system delivered via Agrobacterium tumefaciens.
