Bottom-up realization of a porous metal–organic nanotubular assembly

TL;DR: These findings demonstrate the possibility of bottom-up construction of new porous nanotubes, where their degrees of freedom in both pore space and framework can be used.
Journal ArticleDOI

Charge Ordering in alpha-(BEDT-TTF)2I3 by synchrotron x-ray diffraction

TL;DR: The spatial charge arrangement of a typical quasi-two-dimensional organic conductor alpha-(BEDT-TTF)2I3 is revealed by single crystal structure analysis using synchrotron radiation as mentioned in this paper.
Journal ArticleDOI

Magnetic ordering in relation to the room-temperature magnetoelectric effect of Sr3Co2Fe24O41.

TL;DR: The origin of a room-temperature magnetoelectric (ME) effect has been examined by means of neutron powder diffraction measurements for a Z-type hexaferrite Sr(3)Co(2)Fe(24)O(41) to show that a commensurate magnetic order with a (0,0,1) propagation vector has an intimate connection with the ME effect.
Journal ArticleDOI

Direct observation of antiferroquadrupolar ordering: resonant X-Ray scattering study of DyB2C2

TL;DR: Using the resonant x-ray scattering technique near the Dy L(III) absorption edge, it is succeeded in observing the AFQ order parameter in DyB2C2 and analyzing the energy and polarization dependence.
Journal ArticleDOI

Antiferro-Quadrupole Ordering of CeB6 Studied by Resonant X-Ray Scattering.

TL;DR: In this article, a quadrupolar order parameter at the order parameter of the antiferro-quadrupole (AFQ) ordering compound CeB 6 has been observed under zero magnetic field.
