Journal ArticleDOI

Novel polythreaded coordination polymer: from an armed-polyrotaxane sheet to a 3D polypseudorotaxane array, photo- and thermochromic behaviors.

TL;DR: In this paper, a novel coordination compound, {[Cd(BDC)(Bpybc)(1.5)].10H(2)O}(n), was obtained by the reaction of CdCl(2), with 1,1'-bis(4-carboxybenzyl)-4,4'-bipyridinium dichloride (H (2)BpyBCCl (2)) and 1,4-benzenedicarboxylic acid (H( 2)BDC), which contains 1D polymeric chains
Journal ArticleDOI

A facile synthesis of microporous organic polymers for efficient gas storage and separation

TL;DR: In this paper, a series of porous hyper-cross-linked polymers with excellent physiochemical stability have been designed and prepared facilely through template-free Friedel-Crafts alkylation reactions between benzene/biphenyl/1,3,5-triphenylbenzene as co-condensing rigid aromatic building blocks.
Journal ArticleDOI

In situ construction of a coordination zirconocene tetrahedron.

TL;DR: The current study describes the first in situ synthesis and characterization of a new family of cationic coordination tetrahedra of both the V4F4 and V4E6 type, which are constructed by a new building block based on a trinuclear zirconocene moiety and the dicarboxylate or tricar boxylate anions.
Journal ArticleDOI

Synthesis, Structure and Magnetism of Metal-Organic Framework Materials with Doubly Pillared Layers

TL;DR: In this article, two novel coordination polymers with a 3D pillared-layer framework, [MII(Tdc)(4,4′-Bpy)]n [M = Fe (1), Co (2); Tdc = thiophene-2,5-dicarboxylate; 4,4''-bipyridine, have been synthesized and structurally characterised.
Journal ArticleDOI

A series of manganese–carboxylate coordination polymers exhibiting diverse magnetic properties

TL;DR: The hydrothermal reactions of an asymmetrical 4-(4-carboxyphenylamino)-3,5-dinitrobenzoic acid, MnCl2.4H2O, or together with 2,2'-bipyridine or 4,4'-b Pipyridine afford three novel molecule-based magnetic coordination polymers, which exhibits a 1D chain structure, which is extended into a 3D supramolecular network by pi-pi stacking interactions.
