Journal ArticleDOI
Direct observation of ultrafast plasmonic hot electron transfer in the strong coupling regime.
Hangyong Shan,Ying Yu,Xingli Wang,Yang Luo,Shuai Zu,Bowen Du,Tianyang Han,Bowen Li,Yu Li,Jiarui Wu,Feng Lin,Kebin Shi,Beng Kang Tay,Zheng Liu,Xing Zhu,Zheyu Fang +15 more
TL;DR: The results suggest that strong coupling between LSPs and SPPs has synergetic effects on the generation of plasmonic hot carriers, where SPPs with a unique nonradiative feature can act as an ‘energy recycle bin’ to reuse the radiative energy of L SPs and contribute to hot carrier generation.
Journal ArticleDOI
Plasmonics in Nanostructures
Zheyu Fang,Xing Zhu +1 more
TL;DR: Some typical functional plasmonic nanostructures and nanosmart devices emerging from individual and collaborative research works are reviewed.
Journal ArticleDOI
Tunable wide-angle plasmonic perfect absorber at visible frequencies
TL;DR: In this paper, a perfect absorber metallic hole array with wide-angle near unity absorbance in the visible regime was reported, where the periodicity of the structure enables excitation of surface-plasmon polaritons and results in a splitting of the absorbing peaks.
Journal ArticleDOI
Plasmonic Chiral Nanostructures: Chiroptical Effects and Applications
TL;DR: The plasmonic chiroptical effect has been used to manipulate chiral states of light, where the strong field enhancement and light localization in metallic nanostructures can amplify the chirptical response as mentioned in this paper.
