An Improved Circumferential Fourier Fit (CFF) Method for Blade Tip Timing Measurements
TL;DR: In this paper, an improved circumferential Fourier fit (ICFF) method is proposed, which is more consistent with reality than the traditional ICFF, and the simulated results showed that the ICFF performance is comparable to TCFF in terms of EO identification, except the lower PSR or more number probes that have a more negative effect on ICFF.
Journal ArticleDOI
Identification of Vibration Events in Rotating Blades Using a Fiber Optical Tip Timing Sensor.
TL;DR: The presented IAD correlation method could be used for embedded, real-time, and automatic processing applications and Experimental results showed that the proposed method could identify all vibration events in rotating blades, even small events which may be wrongly identified by skillful operators.
Journal ArticleDOI
Reconstruction of blade tip-timing signals based on the MUSIC algorithm
Zhibo Liu,None Breno Christoffer Coelho Costa,Fajie Duan,Guangyue Niu,Ye Dechao,Junnan Feng,Cheng Zhonghai,Xiao Fu,Jiajia Jiang,Jing Zhu,Meiru Liu +10 more
TL;DR: Reconstruction conditions based on the MUSIC algorithm make the traditional MUSIC method overcome spectrum aliasing without expanding the snapshot matrix, and provides a feasible solution for the spectrum methods that cannot directly extract amplitude from the pseudo spectrum, such as the improved MUSIC, SDR-MUSIC, etc.
Journal ArticleDOI
A high-accuracy non-contact online measurement method of the rotor-stator axial gap based on the microwave heterodyne structure
TL;DR: In this paper, a rotor-stator axial gap measurement method was proposed based on the phase difference ranging principle, where the structure of microwave heterodyne could effectively eliminate the errors caused by DC noise during absolute distance measurement.
Journal ArticleDOI
The location method of blade vibration events based on the tip-timing signal
Zhibo Liu,Fajie Duan,Guangyue Niu,Jiajia Jiang,Fengyao Zhi,Cheng Zhonghai,Junnan Feng,Bing Xiong +7 more
TL;DR: In this article, the area of the ellipse calculated based on the two-parameter plot was derived for the first time in order to locate the vibration event using the area.
