High mean entropy calculated from cardiac MRI texture analysis is associated with antitachycardia pacing failure.
Justin Gould,Justin Gould,Bradley Porter,Bradley Porter,Baldeep S. Sidhu,Baldeep S. Sidhu,Simon Claridge,Simon Claridge,Zhong Chen,Zhong Chen,Benjamin Sieniewicz,Benjamin Sieniewicz,Mark K. Elliott,Mark K. Elliott,Vishal Mehta,Vishal Mehta,Fernando O. Campos,Martin J. Bishop,Caroline Mendonca Costa,Steven A. Niederer,Balaji Ganeshan,Reza Razavi,Reza Razavi,Amedeo Chiribiri,Amedeo Chiribiri,Christopher A. Rinaldi,Christopher A. Rinaldi +26 more
TL;DR: Whether scar heterogeneity, quantified by mean entropy, is associated with ATP failure and explore potential mechanisms using computer modeling is examined.
Book ChapterDOI
Infarct segmentation of the left ventricle using graph-cuts
Rashed Karim,Zhong Chen,Samantha Obom,YingLiang Ma,Prince Acheampong,Harminder Gill,J. Gill,C. Aldo Rinaldi,Mark D O'Neill,Reza Razavi,Tobias Schaeffter,Kawal Rhode +11 more
TL;DR: This work proposes a segmentation algorithm that can learn from training images and segment based on this training model as a Markov random field (MRF) based energy formulation solved using graph-cuts.
Journal ArticleDOI
Recruitment of the cardiac conduction system for optimal resynchronization therapy in failing heart
TL;DR: In this article , the authors summarized the mechanisms of dyssynchronous heart failure mediated by conduction disturbance, the rationale and acute effect of CSP for CRT, the recent advancement in clinical research, and possible future directions.

Bifunctional glycopeptides antibiotics and combinatorial libraries thereof
TL;DR: In this paper, a design of a large class of antibiotics comprised of aglycones of vancomycin or derivatives of an aglycone of van comycin attached to the anomeric site of moenomycin or a moenmycin derivative is described.
Journal ArticleDOI
[Detection and analysis of intestinal flora diversity in patients with complex anal fistula].
TL;DR: Intestinal flora diversity in the complex anal fistula group was richer than in controls, as indicated by a higher ACE index and a higher Chao index, and α-diversity analysis including ACE, Chao, Shannon and Simpson indexes indicated a richer diversity of intestinal microflora in complex anal Fistula patients than in healthy controls.
