Petr Widimsky,William Wijns,Jean Fajadet,Mark A. de Belder,Jiri Knot,Lars Aaberge,George Andrikopoulos,José Antonio Baz,Amadeo Betriu,Marc Claeys,Nicholas Danchin,Slaveyko N Djambazov,Paul Erne,Juha Hartikainen,Kurt Huber,Petr Kala,Milka Klinčeva,Steen Dalby Kristensen,Peter Ludman,Josephina Mauri Ferre,Béla Merkely,Davor Milicic,João Morais,Marko Noc,Grzegorz Opolski,Miodrag Ostojic,Dragana Radovanovic,Stefano De Servi,Ulf Stenestrand,Martin Studencan,Marco Tubaro,Zorana Vasiljevic,Franz Weidinger,Adam Witkowski,Uwe Zeymer +34 more
TL;DR: Most North, West, and Central European countries used p-PCI for the majority of their STEMI patients, and the lack of organized p- PCI networks was associated with fewer patients overall receiving some form of reperfusion therapy.
Journal ArticleDOI

TL;DR: Younger age was associated with higher 30-day mortality rates in women with STEMI even after adjustment for medications, primary PCI, and other coexisting comorbidities and this difference declines after age 60 and is no longer observed in oldest women.
Journal ArticleDOI

Raffaele Bugiardini,Beatrice Ricci,Edina Cenko,Zorana Vasiljevic,Sasko Kedev,Goran Davidovic,Marija Zdravkovic,Davor Miličić,Mirza Dilic,Olivia Manfrini,Akos Koller,Lina Badimon +11 more
TL;DR: Women with ST‐segment–elevation myocardial infarction (STEMI) appear to be more vulnerable to prolonged untreated ischemia and appears to be driven by prehospital delays in hospital presentation.
Journal ArticleDOI
Prognostic significance of new atrial fibrillation and its relation to heart failure following acute myocardial infarction
Milika Asanin,Jovan Perunicic,Igor Mrdovic,Mihailo Matic,Bosiljka Vujisic-Tesic,Aleksandra Arandjelovic,Zorana Vasiljevic,Miodrag Ostojic +7 more
TL;DR: New‐onset atrial fibrillation (AF) after acute myocardial infarction (AMI) frequently occurs in association with postinfarction complications, particularly with heart failure (HF).
