TL;DR: The analysis obtained from the existing literature highlighted two key issues, which were; i) most FDM ignored certain important characteristics of DM, and ii) lack of explanation on how FDM obtained controlled feedback with the lack of iteration process.
Abstract: The Fuzzy Delphi Method (FDM) is the modified and enhanced version of the classical Delphi technique. Improvement was made to rectify the imperfection of traditional Delphi Method (DM) that leads to low convergence in retrieving outcomes, loss of important information, and long progress of investigation. Nevertheless, this approach has been employed in various application domains, including humanities, management, business, physical science, and engineering. Furthermore, the literature has exposed numerous key issues in relation to the existing FDM that need to be resolved with regard to the classical DM. Hence, the analysis obtained from the existing literature highlighted two key issues, which were; i) most FDM ignored certain important characteristics of DM, and ii) lack of explanation on how FDM obtained controlled feedback with the lack of iteration process. Additionally, it was observed that there had been lack of comparison between decision outcomes obtained based on FDM and the decision outcomes obtained from the traditional DM.

Abstract: Dynamic pricing is increasingly applied to supply chain management and the key of successful application of dynamic pricing is to correctly understand consumer's behavior. In the face of a variety of dynamic pricing strategies, more and more consumers become smarter, and they forecast the future price before making a purchase decision. These types of consumers are called the strategic consumers, corresponding to the myopic consumers. In this paper, we study the dynamic pricing problem considering the strategic consumer behavior, and establish the game model between the retailer and consumers. First, we establish the dynamic pricing model of the retailer in the case of supply exceeding demand and demand exceeding supply. Second, we list the equilibrium conditions for the optimal dynamic pricing strategies, derive the optimal dynamic pricing strategies, and finally analyze the result with numerical simulation.

TL;DR: A case study on a partial train line plan of Beijing-Guangzhou High Speed Railway proves that the MSIC model can increase the overall revenue by optimizing passenger distribution on different trains.
Abstract: As ticket income is the main part of railway passenger transportation revenue, rail companies have to deal with seat inventory control problem to maximize the overall expected revenues. This paper develops a multi-train seat inventory control model (MSIC) based on the Revenue Management (also known as Yield Management) theory. This model introduces Origin-Destination (OD) inventory as a constraint by assigning the number of seats to each train and OD to control the seat inventory capacity among different trains. Comparing with the existing models, this model makes it possible to maximize the overall revenue of a whole train line plan rather than a single train, which is more suitable for the practice of railway operation. Meanwhile, the model can also provide theory and tool for marketing staff monitoring and adjusting ticket allocation to improve ticket sales. A case study on a partial train line plan of Beijing-Guangzhou High Speed Railway (HSR) proves that the MSIC model can increase the overall revenue by optimizing passenger distribution on different trains.

TL;DR: A new way for the study on supply chain coordination is provided by establishing two models based on system dynamics, one is revenue sharing contract model and the other is the combination model consisting of quantity discount contract and Revenue sharing contract.
Abstract: Supply chain contract plays an important role in the coordination of members of supply chain. The existing application of supply chain contracts is mainly based on a single contract, which exist some limitations. From the point of combination of supply chain contracts, we establish two models based on system dynamics, one is revenue sharing contract model and the other is the combination model consisting of quantity discount contract and revenue sharing contract. Then, we use Vensim to simulate. The results show that the combination model is more conducive to the overall efficiency of the supply chain. This paper provides a new way for the study on supply chain coordination.

Abstract: The classic algorithm for high dimensional sparse data clustering, CABOSFV, is unidirectional which increases the complexity of parameter adjustment along with the instability of clustering quality. This paper proposes Bidirectional CABOSFV by defining Bidirectional Sparse Feature Vector (B-SFV) and addition-subtraction of B-SFVs. The experiments on UCI data sets show that Bidirectional CABOSFV retains the superiority on high dimensional sparse data clustering, and the efficiency and quality has been improved.

TL;DR: A method of quality function deployment (QFD) is introduced to discuss the service quality of cold chain logistics for fresh products, which will provide a better way to meet the customer requirements.
Abstract: With people's increasing requirements for fresh products, how to improve logistics service quality becomes a key issue for logistics service provider. The cold chain logistics service provided by the enterprises varies considerably in quality. Considering the diversification of consumer requirements, logistics service providers see customer satisfaction as the important decision factors. This paper introduces a method of quality function deployment (QFD) to discuss the service quality of cold chain logistics for fresh products, which will provide a better way to meet the customer requirements. Firstly, an index system of customer requirements for fresh products is found using analytic hierarchy process (AHP). Secondly, based on the internal service of enterprise, an index system of service technology is built. Then, a house of quality (HOQ) is formed through the establishment of correlation matrix between the customer requirements and service technology. Eventually, the method is applied in a company, translating the elusive customer requirements into corrective actions.

TL;DR: The data envelopment analysis (DEA) model is applied to evaluate the coordinated relationship between urban rail transit and land use of Beijing from 2001 to 2014 and shows that, on the whole, Beijing rail Transit and land-use fail to realize coordinated development.
Abstract: This paper establishes an evaluation index system of coordinated relationship between urban rail transit and land use. And the data envelopment analysis (DEA) model is applied to evaluate the coordinated relationship between urban rail transit and land use of Beijing from 2001 to 2014. Evaluation results that are generated by the model are conducive to analyze the change rule of coordination and find out the main factors which restrict coordinated development. The results show that, on the whole, Beijing rail transit and land-use fail to realize coordinated development. The contributing value of ratio of employees to citizens is maximum in the input values of land use system and the proportion of transit trips ranks first in the input values of urban rail transit system, which indicates the unbalanced space distribution of employment and residence and the low proportion of green transportation are key factors that have restricted the coordinated development between urban rail transit and land use. Additional, the improved values of invalid decision making units (DMU) are calculated in the paper with the guide of projection theory so as to provide a reference for the development of urban rail transit and land use.

TL;DR: The political risks that Chinese project contracting enterprises faced in Saudi Arabia under the new situation as an example are taken, optimized as well as combined various risk management technologies, and systematic recommendations on effective control of political risks are put forward.
Abstract: With the deep development and implementation of the Chinese “the Belt and Road” strategy, more and more Chinese project contracting enterprises are rapidly stepping towards the international project contracting market and join the market competition. Meanwhile, these enterprises are faced with more complex and harsh risks overseas. Under a series of new situations, such as complicated and changing international situation, growing regional conflicts, increasingly rampant terrorist organizations, these enterprises are also confronted with increasingly huge political risks. Saudi Arabia is China's largest engineering contracting market in the Middle East, but the situation in the Middle East is becoming more and more deteriorative because of the Syrian Crises and the diplomatic crisis between Saudi Arabia and Iran. Therefore, Chinese enterprises are faced with serious political risks in Saudi Arabia. In this paper, we took the political risks that Chinese project contracting enterprises faced in Saudi Arabia under the new situation as an example, and optimized as well as combined various risk management technologies. Finally, we put forward systematic recommendations on effective control of political risks and duly handling the results caused by the political risks.

TL;DR: A two-stage model based on the shortest path's selection in the road network and vehicle scheduling is proposed which combines both Dijkstra algorithm with improving labeling rules and simulated annealing algorithm with parallel local search rules and the effectiveness of the model and algorithm is verified.
Abstract: Vehicle scheduling of urban distribution is an important element of the logistics center's operation. The total scheduling cost is not only influenced by the satisfaction of customer service time window and the effective utilization of vehicle capacity, but also is closely related to the traffic flow, road capacity, vehicle saturation degree of intersection, traffic lights and road rules in actual road network. This paper proposes a two-stage model based on the shortest path's selection in the road network and vehicle scheduling, and designs a two-stage algorithm to solve it which combines both Dijkstra algorithm with improving labeling rules and simulated annealing algorithm with parallel local search rules. By taking a distribution center in Shahekou District of Dalian as an example, a vehicle scheduling plan in two weeks was calculated and compared with the original plan, which verified the effectiveness of the model and algorithm. Sensitivity analysis of two road network factors: traffic flow and forbidden roads, showed that change of traffic flow on the main road and moderate distance between forbidden roads and distribution centers have a great effect on vehicle schedules.

TL;DR: The results indicate that the revenue-sharing contract can coordinate the supply chain and achieve the total supply chain's profit maximization.
Abstract: With the carbon emission Cap and Trade system, this paper constructs a single supply chain system which consists of one manufacturer and one exclusive retailer. The manufacturer's self-purifying technology investment and consumer low-carbon preference are all modeled. We reveal how to coordinate the supply chain by a revenue-sharing contract under the Cap and trade frame. The results indicate that the revenue-sharing contract can coordinate the supply chain and achieve the total supply chain's profit maximization. The feasible retailer revenue share range which makes every supply chain member better off depends on self-purifying efficiency, carbon emission trade price and consumer low-carbon preference pressure significantly.

TL;DR: It is found that a commercial bank's CSR orientation is significantly correlated to its reputation and customer loyalty, and that its reputation mediatesCSR orientation's impact on its customer loyalty.
Abstract: With globalization, commercial banks are facing increasingly strong competition, and their success now depends less on their hard power, but more on such soft powers as product ideas and moral orientation. Consequently, how to win customer with higher service quality, and to maintain and enlarge customer groups, becomes a central issue for them. By way of a customer questionnaire, this paper investigates the relationship between commercial bank's CSR orientation, reputation and customer loyalty. By analyzing a sample of 216 customers from a commercial bank's 12 sub-branches in western China, the paper finds that a commercial bank's CSR orientation is significantly correlated to its reputation and customer loyalty, and that its reputation mediates CSR orientation's impact on its customer loyalty. To realize a differentiated competition, commercial banks are advised to better concentrate on their CSR efforts, and engage in such sustainable efforts as social enterprise, green finance and sustainable finance, so as to enhance their reputation and customer loyalty.
