TL;DR: In this article, the analytical functions of the laser impulses generated by optical choppers with disks in their classical configuration with windows that have linear margins are obtained, which allows for the designing calculus of choppers for different applications, taking into account their specific requirements.
Abstract: The paper presents a report on our current work on obtaining the analytic functions of the laser impulses generated by optical choppers with disks in their classical configuration - with windows that have linear margins. With regard to our previous researches, focused on choppers working with top-hat (i.e., with constant intensity) laser beams, in the present work Gaussian laser beam distributions of the light beams to be chopped have been considered, for the most common case, of a light bundle of a sufficient small diameter in the plane of the disk; this type of section can therefore be completely obscured and uncovered by the chopper wings and windows, respectively. The functions of the transmitted light flux of the device are approached. This allows for the designing calculus of choppers for different applications, taking into account their specific requirements. A comparison between analytical results obtained in this work and results from our previous numerical modeling is pointed out.

TL;DR: This article pursues a study of one potential variation of the McEliece scheme based on polar codes, and, more generally, based on any weakly decreasing monomial code, using a polynomial formalism to study the star product of two weakly decrease monomial codes.
Abstract: Several variants of the McEliece public key encryption scheme present interesting properties for post-quantum cryptography. In this article we pursue a study of one potential variation, namely the McEliece scheme based on polar codes, and, more generally, based on any weakly decreasing monomial code. Recently, both polar as well as Reed-Muller codes were redefined using a polynomial formalism using different partial orders on the set of monomials over the ring of polynomials of m variables with coefficients in \(\mathbb {F}_2\). We use this approach to study the star product of two weakly decreasing monomial codes and determine its dimension. With these results at hand, we will identify particular types of weakly decreasing monomial codes for which the star product allows for an efficient distinguisher. These results support our quest for efficient key recovery attacks against these variants of the McEliece scheme.

TL;DR: The optimization of the bio-scouring treatment in ultrasounds on 50% cotton +50% cottonised hemp fabrics were studied and a central compound rotatable program with two independent variables: enzyme concentration and treatment time, were used.
Abstract: The optimization of the bio-scouring treatment in ultrasounds on 50% cotton +50% cottonised hemp fabrics were studied in the present study. A commercial product Beisol PRO (which is a mixtures of enzymes used for pre-treatment of cellulose with a very good hydrophilic effect) were used for cleaning the materials. In order to establish the optimal treatment parameters a central compound rotatable program with two independent variables: enzyme concentration and treatment time, were used. The weight loss and hydrophilic property of the treated samples fabric were considered as dependent variables in order to establishing the optimum parameters of bio-scouring treatment in ultrasounds.

TL;DR: In this paper, a new and improved stability analysis for Takagi-Sugeno (T-S) Fuzzy system subjected to interval time-varying delay is presented.
Abstract: This paper presents a new & improved stability analysis for Takagi-Sugeno (T-S) Fuzzy system subjected to interval time-varying delay. The stability analysis provides a sufficient stability condition in an Linear Matrix Inequality (LMI) frame work that can estimate less conservative delay upper bound for a given lower bound of delay. The analysis is carried out by proposing new and modified Lyapunov-Krasovskii (L-K) functional along with the judicious use of Jensen's integral for eliminating the integral terms arising out from the time derivative of L-K functional, these modifications in turn leads to convex combination of the LMIs. Few numerical examples are included to illustrate the effectiveness of the obtained stability condition compared to some recently published stability conditions for different delay nature while delay is varying in intervals.
