TL;DR: In this paper, the construction and selection of multiple dependent (deferred) state (MDS) sampling plans of type MDS-(c1,c2) is discussed.
Abstract: Tables have been prepared for the construction and selection of multiple dependent (deferred) state (MDS) sampling plans of type MDS-(c1,c2). These plans are compared with conventional sampling plans (such as single and double sampling) and it is shown that MDS-type plans require a smaller sample size. A special feature of the MDS-(0,1) plan is highlighted and its design procedure is indicated.

TL;DR: In this article, the capacitance of thin film capacitors of AlNd2O3Al structure are fabricated by the resistive heating method under a vacuum of 2.66 × 10−3 Pa. The thickness of the dielectric films are measured by a multiple beam interferometer.
Abstract: Thin film capacitors of AlNd2O3Al structure are fabricated by the resistive heating method under a vacuum of 2.66 × 10−3 Pa. The thicknesses of the dielectric films are measured by a multiple beam interferometer. Aging, annealing, and dielectric properties are studied in the frequency range 1 to 30 kHz at various temperatures (303 to 483 K). The capacitance, though dependent on frequency and temperature, is found to be almost constant at room temperature for all frequencies. The relative variations in the capacitance normalized at 10 kHz are characterized. The loss factor, showing a loss peak minimum, increases with the rise of temperature and tan δmin shifts to higher frequencies. The dielectric constant (5.66), the temperature coefficients of capacitance (646 ppm/K) and permittivity (623 ppm/K), and the linear expansion coefficient (23 ppm/K) are evaluted at 1 kHz and at room temperature. From the plot of frequency (tan δmin) versus inverse absolute temperature two activation energies are determined as 0.245 eV and 0.037 eV in the high (>400 K) and low (<400 K) temperature region, respectively. Nieder- (<400 K)-Temperaturbereich bestimmt.

TL;DR: Gypsy moth vitellin was partially purified from pupal ovarian follicles by high-salt extraction and analyzed by non-SDS- and SDS-PAGE and found a large-molecular-weight, female-specific, pupal hemolymph protein (vitellogenin, Vg) had electrophoretic and immuno-staining properties similar to Vt.
Abstract: Summary Gypsy moth vitellin (Vt, greater than 500, 000 daltons) was partially purified from pupal ovarian follicles by high-salt extraction and analyzed by non-SDS- and SDS-PAGE. A large-molecular-weight, female-specific, pupal hemolymph protein (vitellogenin, Vg) had electrophoretic and immuno-staining properties similar to Vt. A slightly larger female-specific hemolymph protein larval-Vt) was found in last-instar female gypsy moth larvae. Vt, pupal-Vg and larval-Vg were recognized on Western blots by a rabbit polyclonal antiserum made against L. dispar Vt. The apoprotein subunits of Vt were 180,000 (apo-Vt180), 165,000 (apo-Vt165), and 38,000 daltons (apo-Vt38). Apo-Vg of similar sizes as the apo-Vt (apo-Vg180, apo-Vg165, and apo-Vg38) were recognized in larval and pupal hemolymph by the anti-Vt antisera. Apo-Vg began to accumulate in the hemolymph of last-instar larvae after day 2 and were not detected by Coomassie-or immuno-staining prior to this time. This indicates that synthesis of Vg must be initi...

TL;DR: In this article, the thickness of the dielectric film (YF3) is measured by MBI and the activation energy is estimated from the slope of conductivity versus inverse absolute temperature plot to 0.509 eV.
Abstract: Al–YF3–Al (MIM) capacitors are formed by thermal evaporation under a vacuum of 2.66 × 10−3 Pa. The thickness of the dielectric film (YF3) is measured by MBI. From X-ray diffraction studies, the structure of the film is found to be amorphous in nature. Aging, annealing, dielectric, and ac conduction studies are made for these films. It is observed that due to aging the capacitance becomes constant after about 25 days and it decreases with repeated annealing cycles. The dielectric constant for a film of thickness 136 nm at 1 kHz and at room temperature is found to be 13.58. AC conduction studies reveal that the conduction mechanism is electronic hopping. The activation energy is estimated from the slope of conductivity versus inverse absolute temperature plot to 0.509 eV.

Abstract: The theory of nonlinear Volterra integral equations with deviating arguments and functional integral equations have been studied by many authors [1, 2, 5, 7]~ Banag[4] has proved an existence theorem for functional integral equation and Balachandran[1] has proved an existence theorem for a nonlinear Volterra integral equation with deviating argument. In this paper we shall derive a set of sufficient conditions for the existence of a solution of nonlinear Volterra integral equations with the kernel containing a continuous operator.

TL;DR: Studies on the anatomy of the female internal organs of reproduction and the intromittent organs of 34 species of Tingidae confirm the absence of spermathecae and a scheme to trace the evolution of accessory gland, from a median unpaired contacaderine condition, to a paired independent gland, having its opening either in front or behind the lateral oviduct, has been detailed.
Abstract: Studies on the anatomy of the female internal organs of reproduction and the intromittent organs of 34 species of Tingidae confirm the absence of spermathecae. The accessory glands are vesicular and primitively unpaired. There is no vermiform gland and the term pseudosperrnatheca, introduced by Carayon in heteropteran literature, is a misnomer. The lateral oviduct and all the 7 pedicels of each ovary develop a permanent swelling in the middle that receive the spermatozoa, syringed into them through the minute pores of the armature of ejaculatory pouches of the endotheca, when it is lodged inside the bursa during copulation. The ejaculatory pouch and the bursa are so designed and adjusted for the purpose of sperm transmission. In a few species of Tingidae a median diverticulum that arises from the endotheca plugs the unpaired vesicular accessory gland, preventing wrongful lodging of the ejaculatory pouch and such a mechanism, not known so far, has been described as a unique feature. A scheme to trace the evolution of accessory gland, from a median unpaired contacaderine condition, to a paired independent gland, having its opening either in front or behind the lateral oviduct, has been detailed.
