TL;DR: The hybrid technique is the joint execution of both the particle swarm optimization (PSO)–aided artificial neural network (ANN) and grasshopper optimization algorithm (GOA) named as GOAPSNN technique for optimal power flow management and production cost minimization of microgrid (MG)‐connected system with renewable energy sources (RES).

TL;DR: The mathematical modelling incorporates the direct transmission and the indirect transmission due to environmental knowledge and suggests that the transmission and spread of cholera can be affected by climatic factors, the proportion of the undernourished individuals and the proportion who respect the hygiene standards.
Abstract: Cholera is a bacterial disease, its spread is strongly influenced by environmental factors and some socio-economic factors such as hygiene standards and nutrition of the population. This paper is devoted to the modelling of the impact of climatic factors and human behaviour on the spread of cholera. The mathematical modelling incorporates the direct transmission and the indirect transmission due to environmental knowledge. Taking into account the effect of the intra-annual variation of climatic factors on the transmission of cholera, a non-autonomous ordinary differential equations is proposed to describe the dynamics of the transmission of cholera. When the intra-annual variation of climate is not incorporated into the model, the latter becomes autonomous. The basic reproductive number is calculated and the stabilities of equilibria are investigated. In the non-autonomous case, the disease extinction and uniform persistence of disease are investigated. The results suggest that the transmission and spread of cholera can be affected by climatic factors, the proportion of the undernourished individuals and the proportion of people who respect the hygiene standards. Finally, some numerical simulations are proposed using the parameters values of climatic factors and socio-economic factors of some localities situated in Lake Chad border between Chad, Cameroon and Nigeria.

01 Jan 2015TL;DR: IDPSes typical record information interrelated to practical events, security administrators of essential observed events and construct write up, and many IDPSes can also respond to a detected threat by attempting to thwart it succeeding.
Abstract: Organizations focuses IDPSes for respective purposes, e.g. identifying problems with security strategies, manually presented threats and deterring individuals from violating security policies. IDPSes have become a necessary technique to the security infrastructure of approximate each association. IDPSes typical record information interrelated to practical events, security administrators of essential observed events and construct write up. Many IDPSes can also respond to a detected threat by attempting to thwart it succeeding. These use several response techniques, which involve the IDPS restricting the attack, changing the security environment or the attack’s content. Sensor node should diverge in size from a shoebox down to the small size, although functioning “motes” of genuine microscopic dimensions have to be formed. The cost of sensor nodes is variable, from a few to thousands of dollars, depend on the complexity of the sensor nodes. Size and cost constraints on sensor nodes represent in corresponding constraints on resources such as energy, memory, computational velocity and communications bandwidth. The arrangement of the WSNs alters itself from a star network to efficient multi-hop wireless mesh network. The proliferation technique between the hops of the network can be routing or flooding. TL;DR: In this paper, the authors examined the causal relationship between crude oil production and economic growth in Cameroon on the basis of annual data for the period 1977-2010 and found that there is no causal relation between the variables.
Abstract: This paper analyzes the crude oil sector and examines the causal relationship between crude oil production and economic growth in Cameroon on the basis of annual data for the period 1977–2010. The tests for unit roots, the vector autoregressive (VAR) model, and the Wald test are used as econometrics methodologies. The results show no causal relationship between the variables. With regard to these results, the energy policy of Cameroon will promote the popularization of new licenses to farms to discover new crude oil deposits. In addition, if crude oil revenue management becomes transparent, then these future new deposits or such future crude oil production will have a positive impact on economic growth.

TL;DR: The hemispheric asymmetry of the solar-flare index during 1976-2018 from the Kandilli Observatory is studied in this paper, where different methodologies, such as cross-correlation analysis, rescaled-range analysis, empirical mode decomposition, and date-compensated discrete Fourier transform, have been used on the hemispheres of the index and absolute asymmetry data to study various inherent characteristics.
Abstract: The hemispheric asymmetry of the solar-flare index during 1976 – 2018 from the Kandilli Observatory is studied in this investigation. The temporal duration covers Solar Cycles 21 – 23 and almost the whole of Solar Cycle 24. Different methodologies, such as cross-correlation analysis, rescaled-range analysis, empirical mode decomposition, and date-compensated discrete Fourier transform, have been used on the hemispheric solar-flare index as well as on absolute asymmetry data to study various inherent characteristics. We observed that: i) the temporal characteristics in the northern and southern hemispheres are different during the progression of a solar cycle; ii) the T-test indicates that Solar Cycles 21 and 23 do not have any dominant hemispheric effect, whereas Solar Cycle 22 and 24 have South-dominated hemispheric characteristics; iii) the southern hemisphere is leading by ten, three, and one months during Solar Cycles 21, 22, and 24, respectively, and for Solar Cycle 23 the hemispheres are in phase; iv) anti-persistence as well as short memory-dependent characteristics are present in both the hemispheric solar-flare index and the absolute asymmetry data; v) all of the time-series data have well-known periods of 11 years and 27 days as well as short-term periods around 7 days and 14 days. Apart from those, several mid-term periodicities such as the Rieger periodicity and quasi-biennial oscillations (QBOs) are also found in both hemispheric solar-flare index as well as absolute asymmetry index data; vi) the Waldmeier effect is also validated using solar-flare-index data. These results will enrich our knowledge about the distribution of hemispheric asymmetry in solar-flare-index data and may reveal some valuable points about asymmetry behaviors.
