TL;DR: This paper postulates the existence of a three-way relationship, namely, that the degree of transparency in a local authority influences the reputation of that authority and that both transparency and reputation are influenced by the level of e-government service provided.
Abstract: This paper examines the interrelationship between e-government, transparency, and reputation in Spanish local government. It postulates the existence of a three-way relationship, namely, that the degree of transparency in a local authority influences the reputation of that authority and that both transparency and reputation are influenced by the level of e-government service provided. The research is based on a study of 78 Spanish municipalities. The results are presented as a model.

TL;DR: Researchers study the longitudinal impact of control and empowerment on usage behaviors at the individual level to tackle the challenge of underutilization in Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP).
Abstract: Organizations have invested in Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems expecting to obtain benefits of the system and realize a healthy return on investment. Nonetheless, research indicates that employees rarely use ERP to its full potential. To tackle the challenge of underutilization, this article studies the longitudinal impact of control and empowerment on usage behaviors at the individual level. Results indicate that users engage in different but coexisting usage behaviors: routinization and infusion.

TL;DR: MaS characteristic s and the use of this kind of services in mobility in the city is presented and the development will affect the creation of new business models, both by existing and new market player s.
Abstract: Generation change contributes to the emergence of n ew consumer trends, defined by global economy researchers as medium-term rends. One of them is the modification of the existing traditional model of o wnership and use of cars. The sharing economy is based on the sharing of resource s (e.g. cars) by owners to external entities or individual users. Mobility-as-a-Ser vice has become the answer to new mobility needs. In the future, its development will affect the creation of new business models, both by existing and new market player s, not only from the automotive industry but also IT sector, especially its part de aling with the creation of mobile applications. This paper presents MaaS characteristic s and the use of this kind of services in mobility in the city.

TL;DR: The results of two experiments support the notion that CMC workgroups develop over time in a similar manner to face-to-face groups, with technology availability having minimal, fleeting effects on group development, and structural guidance having a more pronounced effect.
Abstract: This article examines how technology and structural guidance influence the development of workgroups using computer-mediated communication (CMC). The results of two experiments support the notion that CMC workgroups develop over time in a similar manner to face-to-face groups. Technology availability had minimal, fleeting effects on group development. Structural guidance had a more pronounced effect, increasing feelings of belonging and goal commitment in newly formed groups, but lowering feelings of trust in maturing groups.

TL;DR: Differences between Enterprise Resource Planning Systems and Warehouse Management Systems are presented and different approaches to integration and risks connected to implementation are discussed and summarized.
Abstract: This article presents differences between Enterprise Resource Planning Systems and Warehouse Management Systems. Management of warehouse processes and hardware requires specialized functionality, not present in ERP, functionality that only WMS can provide. Using separate systems enforces their integration. Different approaches to integration and risks connected to implementation are discussed and summarized.

Abstract: The paper presents the changes that have taken place in the E-commerce market in Europe. The European B2C e-commerce sales have been steadily growing since 2011. Still, the growth rate has decreased the last few years, from 18.4% in 2011 to 13.3% in 2015 and 12% in 2016. The value of market in 2016 was Euro 509.9 billion. In the category of B2C e-commerce sales, the UK was the clear leader in Europe. In 2015, the British in total spent Euro 157.1bn online, which is more than France (Euro 64.9bn), Germany (Euro 59.7bn) and Russia (Euro 20.5bn) combined. In addition, the share of the UK was more than twice as much as all the other countries outside the top 10 combined. It was found that E-commerce market developed faster than economy but was dependent from her.

TL;DR: An approach for teaching students in Big Data and also the choice and arrangement of an appropriate programming platform for Big Data laboratories are shown, which could enable the problems in education of students in the field of Big Data.
Abstract: Processing massive data amounts and Big Data became nowadays one of the most significant problems in computer science. The difficulties with education on this field arise, the appropriate teaching methods and tools are needed. The processing of vast amounts of data arriving quickly requires the choice and arrangement of extended hardware platforms. In the paper we will show an approach for teaching students in Big Data and also the choice and arrangement of an appropriate programming platform for Big Data laboratories. Usage of an e-learning platform Moodle, a dedicated platform for teaching, could allow the teaching staff and students an improved contact with by enhancing mutually communication possibilities. We will show the preparation of Hadoop platform tools and Big Data cluster based on Cloudera and Ambari. The both solutions together could enable to cope with the problems in education of students in the field of Big Data.

TL;DR: In this article, the authors analyzed the electricity purchase and supply costs of the largest households group belonging to G11 tariff and simulated the effectiveness of moving from existing tariff group to the offered competitive tariff according to electricity suppliers.
Abstract: After the introduction of the Energy Law in 1997, many enterprises started to operate in the power industry, which is translated into the electricity prices competitiveness. The further household tariff extension with more expensive rates at peak times, and favorable lower rates during the night and off-peak hours, did not result significantly change among users belonging to the most generic household tariff G11 with a single electricity rate per KWh (Kilowatt hour) regardless time of use. The article analyzes the electricity purchase and supply costs of the largest households group belonging to G11 tariff and simulates the effectiveness of moving from existing tariff group to the offered competitive tariff according to electricity suppliers.
