New Iterative Methods for Solving Nonlinear Equations

Abstract: Using Newton iterative formula of nonlinear equations,new classes iterative methods for solving nonlinear equations are constructed in this paper.This new method includes Newton iterative methods and other iterative methods as special cases.We give several examples and their comparison with other iterative methods to illustrate the efficiency of these methods.

The Method of Ascertaining Rule Weight Based on Rough Sets Theory

Abstract: Rule weight is usually ascertained by experts' experience knowledge.According to calculation method of rule's improved deterministic factor in rough sets,the paper puts forward the method of ascertaining rule weight which combines weight given by experts with rule's improved deterministic factor ascertained by rough sets,that is the method of ascertaining rule weight based on rough sets.The method realizes unity between subjective experience knowledge and objective situation,thus it can acquire much more ideal result.The main purpose is that this paper provides policy-makers with a kind of new method of ascertaining rule weight,in order to contribute to make more scientific and more reasonable decision and analysis.This paper adopts document method,systematic analysis method and example analysis method.

Operational Availability for the k-out-of-n System under(n,r,r) Maintenance Policy

Abstract: The k-out-of-n system are widely used in modern high technological systems today,we need maintain this system when the number of failed components exceeds to a certain level,and(n,r,r) policy is one of the common application maintenance policies.In the paper,the author discusses k-out-of-n system and presents the operational availability for k-out-of-n system under the(n,r,r) maintenance policy and the failed time of components satisfied index distribution and maintenance time satisfied equation distribution.

A Corpus-based Analysis of Verb-noun Collocational Errors Committed by Chinese EFL Learners

Abstract: Based on CLEC and LOCNESS,the present study,taking high-frequency verb learning as example,by means of Contrastive Interlanguage Analysis,investigates Verb-noun collocational errors committed by Chinese EFL learnersThe results indicates that the Chinese learners showed a strong tendency of overuse certain noun collocates,fewer collocate types,underuse of typical collocations in their writingThe probable causes are lack of awareness of collocations,insufficiency of vocabulary and the influences from mother language transfer and teaching transfer

The Study of Fuzzy-PID Controller Design and Simulation

Abstract: A fuzzy-PID controller design and simulation method is presented in this paper.The control system is suitable for the recovery furnace water level control,power plant boiler water level control and other areas of water control.Its structure is simple,parameter adjustment convenient and fast.In addition,it shows that the controller works well through the use of fuzzy control Matlab Simulink simulation tool kit and the simulation.

Particle Swarm Optimization Algorithm with Swarm Average Information and Keeping Activity Strategy

Abstract: This paper tries to improve particle swarm optimization(PSO) performance that making use of the average information of swarm and keeping active strategy,then proposes a kind of particle swarm optimization algorithm with the average information of swarm and keeping active strategy(BPSO),BPSO is better in global searching and performance than PSO by real example simulation for classical optimization problems.

Dynamic Programming Model and Algorithm of Optimal Assignment Problem

Abstract: In this paper,the following assignment problem is considered:there are persons to be assigned to do jobs,where,every person who is assigned to do one job,meanwhile,every job demands one person to do;then,this assignment problem is called standard assignment problem,furthermore,it is called general assignment problem.A dynamic programming model and alogrithm is established for the standard optimal assignment problem and general optimal assignment problem.Finally,the method and steps of which is proposed in this paper are illuminated by an simple example.

The Calculation and Analysis of Ecological Footprints of Gansu Province in 2004

Abstract: This paper calculates the ecological footprints of Gansu Province in 2004 by the method of ecological footprint,with the results as follows: per capita ecological footprints is 2.4095hm2 and per capita ecological deficit is 1.066hm2 in 2004.Also,the paper,by comparing the above results with the ecological footprints of Gansu Province in1998,condudes that there is more and more ecological deficit in Gansu Province,and Gansu Province is always in unsustainable development.The main cause of ecological deficit is too fast population growth,unreasonable ultilization of the enlargement of the strength of land ultilization.

Analysis of the Roles of Cyclic Prefix in OFDM System

Abstract: Recently orthogonal frequency division multiplexing(OFDM) has received more and more attention and has been applied to IEEE 802.11 wireless LAN.We usually apply cyclic prefix in OFDM system.In this paper,we analyses the roles of cyclic prefix by considering the power spectral density and present its simulation result.The results show that by adding the prefix cycle can effectively eliminate inter-symbol interference(ISI) and inter-carrier interference(ICI).

Effect of Pleurotus Ferulae Extracts on Immune Function of Tumor-bearing Mice

Abstract: This paper studies the relationship between tumor regression and immunologic consequences of tumor inhibited in a model of pleurotus ferulae treatments.The experiment is performed that S180 tumor-bearing mice are fed orally with pleurotus ferulae in dose(1g/kg) for ten days,and some of them are treated with cyclophosphamide.Then the inhibition rate of pleurotus ferulae on the tumor is assessed.Cock red blood cells(cRBC) are used to evaluated PM phagocytic activity.MTT colorimetric assay is carried out to examine the activity of peripheral blood NK cell.And by Haemolysin assay to test the level of antibody in serum.Resalts show that pleurotus.ferulae can inhibit the growth of the tumor significantly with the ratio up to 64.97%,promote the immune activity of PM and the peripheral blood NK cell,increase humoral immune function,enhance the spleen index,and remarkably increase the immune function in cyclophosphamide mice.The conclusion is drawn from the test result that pleurotus ferulae can result in tumor regression evidently by improving the immune function of tumorbearing mice.

Abstract: By using methods of documentary review,questionnaire,expert interview and logical analysis,the authors analyze the present situations of scientific style curriculum system of graduate student major in national traditional sports in discipline reforming time for some Universities.They put forward following frames in principle in view of problems of curriculum system:to explicit principle of curriculum design according to the first level of disciplines;to stress the update and integrity;to make clear the classification and emphasize the individuality of curriculum design,so as to provide the certain theory basis for strengthening the discipline construction of national traditional sports and further consummating its curriculum system.

Clustering Algorithms of Relatively Research Based on Outlier Data Mining

Abstract: Outlier mining is attracting more and more interests in research of information science while the research fields of data quality,fraud detection,intrusion detection,fault diagnosis,military scout and so on are receiving wide attention.In this paper,the concept of outlier is introduced at first,and efficiency,data types,clustering types,sensibility,space complexity,time complexity are relatively researched and the methods of clustering algorithms are used based on clustering analysis.Finally it is discussed how to use the technology of clustering to deal with outlier.

The Strong and Weak Convergence of Sequence in n-Banach Spaces

Abstract: In this paper,the results of 2-normed spaces according to reference [1] are generalized to n-Banach spaces.Firsly,the conceptions of weak convergence,uniformly convex and modulus of convexity are introduced in n-normed spaces;secondly,it is shown that the relations of strong convergence and weak convergence;finally,two necessary and sufficient conditions for n-Banach spaces to be uniformly convex spaces are obtained.

A Kind of Revised Penalty Function Algorithm

Abstract: In this paper,a novel objective penalty function is proposed for both equality and inequality constrained optimization problems.In addition to these results,based on the objective penalty function,an algorithm for solving the problem is developed,showing its convergence under some conditions.Numerical experiment shows that the algorithm is efficient.
