TL;DR: Some inequalities of Hermite-Hadamard type for h-convex functions defined on convex subsets in real or complex linear spaces are given in this article, and applications for norm inequalities are provided as well.

TL;DR: In this article, an alternative form of generate asymmetry in the normal distribution that allows to fit unimodal and bimodal data sets is introduced. But the main object of this paper is to introduce an alternative approach to generate asymmetric data sets.
Abstract: The main object of this paper is to introduce an alternative form of generate asymmetry in the normal distribution that allows to fit unimodal and bimodal data sets. Basic properties of this new distribution, such as stochastic representation, moments, maximum likelihood and the singularity of the Fisher information matrix are studied. The methodology developed is illustrated with a real application.

TL;DR: In this article, under standard Newton-Kantorovich conditions, the authors established the Kantorovich-type convergence theorem for Chebyshev method in Banach spaces.
Abstract: In this paper, under standard Newton-Kantorovich conditions, we establish the Kantorovich-type convergence theorem for Chebyshev method in Banach spaces.

TL;DR: In this paper, the authors recall some definitions of quantum probability theory in the general framework developed by Accardi and several co-workers and illustrate the definitions by two examples which are included only with the aim to give a flavour of the relation with classical probability.
Abstract: In this chapter we recall some definitions of quantum probability theory in the general framework developed by Accardi and several co-workers. Several expository papers in the series Quantum Probability and Related Topics and two monographes [68], [74] are already available in the literature. We will only illustrate the definitions by two examples which are included only with the aim to give a flavour of the relation with classical probability.

TL;DR: The best possible constants α = 1 - 2πe-2 = 0.149663 and β = 1/6 = 1.1666666, respectively, were shown in this article, which refines and extends the result of Sandor and Debnath.
Abstract: Let n be a positive integer. We provewith the best possible constantsα = 1 - 2πe-2 = 0.149663... and β = 1/6 = 0.1666666...This refines and extends a result of Sandor and Debnath, who proved that the double inequality holds with α = 0 and β = 1.
