There may be positive associations between occupational noise and hypertension and impaired hearing, but no conclusion can be drawn between occupational noise and ECG.Abstract:
For
the past few years, noise pollution has been more and more serious, and it may
lead to several diseases. While the humans expose to noise in quantity for a
long time, their blood pressure will change, and even cause changes in cardiac
function. In our study, we attempt to find the relationship between
occupational noise and hypertension and impaired hearing, cardiac function. It
may be helpful to obtain some useful information on occupational noise exposure
of humans. The participants were divided into noisy group ≥90 dB (A) and
non-noisy group ≤70 dB (A). We performed this research in an automobile manufacturing
company of Chongqing, China during 2011-2012. Our study showed that there may
be positive associations between occupational noise and hypertension and impaired hearing,
but no conclusion can be drawn between occupational noise and ECG.read more

TL;DR: This pilot study aimed to investigate the prevalence and determinants of NIHL among workers in the automotive industry in China and found that noise‐induced hearing loss is common among workers.

A profile of noise sensitivity on the health-related quality of life among young motorcyclists
TL;DR: It is shown that individuals with high NS tend to have degradedHRQOL compared to individuals with low NS, and in-depth studies are required from the other demographical background of participants to investigate the motorcyclist's NS and HRQOL as an integral requirement for the rider’s safety and health.

The Association between Risk Factors and Blood Pressure in the Textile Industry Workers
TL;DR: Investigation of the association between noise level, duration of noise exposure, age, use of earplugs, and body mass index with blood pressure on textile industry workers in Surakarta showed that variables associated with systolic blood pressure were the use of earsplugs and age.
Noise pollution in kerman-iran
TL;DR: In this article, a study was conducted in order to assess noise pollution level in Kerman, 13 stations were selected and the levels of Lmax, LAV, L99, L90, L50, L10 were measured daily for 156 days.

The quantitative relationship between road traffic noise and hypertension: a meta-analysis.
TL;DR: A meta-analysis was carried out in order to derive a quantitative exposure–response relationship between the exposure to road traffic noise and the prevalence of hypertension, and to gain some insight into the sources of heterogeneity among study results.

Road traffic noise and cardiovascular risk
TL;DR: Studies on the association between community noise and cardiovascular risk were subjected to a meta-analysis for deriving a common dose-effect curve and an increase in risk was found with increasing noise levels above 60 dB(A) thus showing a dose-response relationship.

Increased prevalence of hypertension in a population exposed to aircraft noise.
TL;DR: Community exposure to aircraft noise may be a risk factor for hypertension and it is suggested that special attention be paid to maximum noise levels because of possible physiological effects from aircraft noise.

Acute effects of noise on blood pressure and heart rate.
TL;DR: Systolic and diastolic blood pressure, along with heart rate, were shown to be significantly positively associated with noise exposure, and the results imply that reducing acute noise exposure reduces cardiovascular stress.

TL;DR: While exposure to road traffic noise was associated with systolic blood pressure in subgroups, it was not able to identify associations with hypertension.
