TLDR
A new approach a fuzzy interval multiobjective mixed integer programming (FIMOMIP) model is proposed for the evaluation of management strategies for solid waste management in a metropolitan region and demonstrates how uncertain messages can be quantified by specific membership functions and combined through the use of interval numbers in a multiobjectives analytical framework.

A grey linear programming approach for municipal solid waste management planning under uncertainty

TL;DR: In this paper, a grey linear programming (GLP) model is introduced to the civil engineering area, which allows uncertainties in the model inputs to be communicated into the optimization process, and thereby solutions reflecting the inherent uncertainties can be derived.
