Delaying stall of morphing wing by periodic trailing-edge deflection

TL;DR: In this paper, the effects of the angle of attack and deflection rate on aerodynamic characteristics of the morphing wing were examined, and a method was developed to delay stall by using the flexible periodic trailing-edge deflection.

Multi-infill strategy for kriging models used in variable fidelity optimization

TL;DR: The developed approach has a promising application to efficient aerodynamic design when high-fidelity analyses are involved and faster reduction of an aerodynamic function is achieved, when compared to ordinary kriging using the multi-infill strategy and variable-f fidelity model using single infill criterion.

Non intrusive method for parametric model order reduction using a bi-calibrated interpolation on the Grassmann manifold

TL;DR: Results on the flow problem past a circular cylinder where the parameter of interpolation is the Reynolds number, show that for new untrained Reynolds number values, the developed approach produces satisfyingly accurate solutions in a real computational time.

Flowfield measurements about a multi-element airfoil at high Reynolds numbers

TL;DR: In this article, the effects of variations in Reynolds number and flap gap on airfoil performance and flowfield survey data are presented, including surface static-pressure distributions (integrated to obtain lift), drag data obtained with wake-rake surveys, and fbwfield surveys obtained with a flat-tube and five-hole probe at nine stations on the configuration's upper surface.
