TLDR
U ovom radu su istraživani celomociti trpa Holothuria tubulosa protocnom citometrijom i analizom sadržaja DNA ustanovljeno je da se celosni trpa.Abstract:
In this study, the coelomocytes of Holothuria tubulosa were analized by flow cytometry. The DNA content analyses identified coelomocytes proliferation in the coelom. The pattern of a normal cell cycle has been determined in individuals from the reference site. In some individuals from sites under anthropogenic influence cell cycle alteration were detected: "G1-arrest", "G2-delay" and apoptosis. Analysis of the extent of the effects revealed that the port of Rovinj is an area with no impact while the fire damage on the UND Adriyatik ship caused a negative consequences to the surrounding fauna. The results of this study suggest that Holothuria tubulosa could be a useful bioindicator for pollution monitoring, while flow cytometric analyses of Holothuria coelomocytes could provide information regarding the marine ecosystem status.read more

Formation of filopodia in coelomocytes: Localization of Fascin, a 58,000 Dalton actin cross-linking protein
TL;DR: The known chemistry of the actin cross-linking protein (M r = 58,000) and its redistribution during the transformation sequence are consistent with the idea that this protein functions to organize F actin into filopodial cores by cross- linking adjacent actin filaments.

Feeding and digestive strategies in deposit-feeding holothurians
TL;DR: Deposit-feeding holothurians employ a range of feeding and digestive strategies depending on the particular environment to which they are adapted, and are broadly adapted to process large quantities of often nutrient-poor sediments from which they extract labile compounds.

TL;DR: The coelomocytes of the sea urchin may be prevented from clotting with 50 mM ethylene glycol-bis(beta- aminoethyl)-N,N, N,N',N'-tetraacetate and subsequently separated into various cell types on sucrose gradients and spontaneously undergoes a striking morphological transformation to a form exhibiting numerous, t- in cytoplasmic projections (filopodia).
