Moment method analysis of slot coupled waveguides

TL;DR: In this article, an expansion for the equivalent magnetic current that corresponds to a modal expansion of the electric field inside the slot cavities is proposed to account for the full behavior of electric field at the slot apertures, and it is shown by comparison with FEKO and results published previously in the literature that this approach yields accurate values for the scattering parameters even for weakly excited slots.
