Analytical single-mode sliding predictive control of arbitrarily switched nonlinear systems incorporating dynamical variations

TLDR
It is proposed that control objectives and stability conditions can be relaxed such that boundedness of sliding functions in all switched modes is maintained according to the cost-reducing input update law rather than their strict convergence to the origin.

Robust nonlinear model predictive sliding mode control algorithm for saturated uncertain multivariable mechanical systems

TL;DR: In this paper , robust stabilization and predictive tracking control for a class of nonlinear uncertain multivariable systems is presented by incorporating nonlinear model predictive control in discrete sliding mode control to obtain optimal results while satisfying hard constraints and closed-loop robustness in the presence of external disturbance and parametric uncertainty.

YALMIP : a toolbox for modeling and optimization in MATLAB

TL;DR: Free MATLAB toolbox YALMIP is introduced, developed initially to model SDPs and solve these by interfacing eternal solvers by making development of optimization problems in general, and control oriented SDP problems in particular, extremely simple.

Economic receding horizon control without terminal constraints

Lars Grüne
- 01 Mar 2013 -
TL;DR: Using a turnpike property and suitable controllability properties it is proved near optimal performance of the controller and convergence of the closed loop solution to a neighborhood of the optimal steady state for the corresponding averaged infinite horizon problem.
