The Origin of Serpentinites Associated with the Shuksan Metamorphic Suite Near Gee Point, Washington

TL;DR: In this paper, a tectonic model is proposed in which high-temperature ultramafic rock fills fractures and faults in a subducted plate, causing local contact metamorphism.

Metamorphic P–T evolution of the Gotsu blueschists from the Suo metamorphic belt in SW Japan: Implications for tectonic correlation with the Heilongjiang Complex, NE China

TL;DR: In the Gotsu area of the c. 200-Ma high-P/T Suo metamorphic belt in the Inner Zone of southwest Japan, blueschists occur as lenses or layers within pelitic schists as mentioned in this paper.

Blueschist blocks at Mochimaru in the Tari‐Misaka ultramafic complex: Their petrologic characteristics and significance

TL;DR: Blueschist tectonic blocks occur in serpentinites at Mochimaru, Hiroshima Prefecture, Southwest Japan They contain alkali amphibole coexisting with pumpellyite and chlorite, with or without calcic amphibole Textural and chemical analyses reveal that the blueschists, together with other mafic schists have similar metamorphic history as mentioned in this paper.
