TLDR
It is established that the existing stability/stabilizability conditions by means of polyhedral functions and based on matrix equalities are equivalent to the matrix inequality conditions, which implies that the composite quadratic functions are universal for robust, possibly constrained, stabilization problems of linear differential inclusions.

Discrete and Intersample Analysis of Systems With Aperiodic Sampling

TL;DR: Adopting a difference inclusion formalism, it is shown that necessary and sufficient stability conditions are given by the existence of discrete-time quasi-quadratic Lyapunov functions, which leads to sufficient stability criteria under LMI form.

A predictive control scheme for systems with variable time-delay

TL;DR: The starting point is the construction of a predictive control law which guarantees the existence of a nonempty robust positive invariant set with respect to the closed-loop dynamics, and an iterative algorithm is proposed in order to obtain an approximation of the maximal RPI set.

Criteria of asymptotic stability of differential and difference inclusions encountered in control theory

TL;DR: For a class of differential inclusions, to which many of the practically important control systems can be reduced, necessary and sufficient conditions for asymptotic stability of the zero solution are established by the method of Lyapunov functions.
