Catalyst resins for the catalytic reduction of oxygen in aqueous media, the preparation of the catalyst resins, and new catalyst resins

TLDR
In this paper, the use of macroporous weakly-basic anion exchangers, charged with palladium or platinum and based on crosslinked polystyrene, as catalysts for the removal of oxygen from aqueous media by catalytic reduction, is described.
Abstract
Catalyst resins for the catalytic reduction of oxygen in aqueous media, the preparation of the catalyst resins, and new catalyst resins A b s t r a c t The invention relates to the use of macroporous weakly-basic anion exchangers, charged with palladium or platinum and based on crosslinked polystyrene, as catalysts for the removal of oxygen from aqueous media by catalytic reduction, a process for the preparation of these cata-lyst resins, and new macroporous weakly-basic anion exchangers, charged with palladium or platinum and based on crosslinked polystyrene, in which the amino groups are primary or secondary amino groups.

Catalytic Deoxygenation of Water: Preparation, Deactivation, and Regeneration of Palladium on a Resin Catalyst

TL;DR: In this paper, the deactivation and regeneration of a palladium catalyst for deoxygenation of water using a weak-basic macroporous resin was studied. But the results obtained in the laboratory were not compared with those obtained from an industrial reactor used to deoxyginate water for beer production.

Uniformly plated microsphere catalyst

TL;DR: In this paper, cross-linked polymer microspheres having a sulfonated cation exchange surface are carefully separated into fractions of equal size and density, each fraction is separately plated with copper, palladium, nickel, titanium or any metal cation which will reduce with hydrazene to form a conductive metal flash coating.

Catalytic fluidised bed process for treating aqueous liquids.

TL;DR: In this article, a process for the catalytic treatment of aqueous liquids containing germs, for example, for catalytic removal of oxygen, nitrite or nitrate in drinking, culinary or waste water, the germ contamination of a catalysts which are used can be prevented when the process is carried out in the fluidized bed.
